Sharpen Your Pitchforks America – This Could Get Ugly

I stayed in bed as long as I could this morning.

Usually I spring up at 7:00, but today I was determined to stay horizontal until life forced me up.

I held Carrie and tried not to think about California.

I knew that today was going to be a long day.

I knew that the corporate media was going to announce that Hillary Clinton had won the Democratic nomination, in an attempt to convince the American people to stay home on this final primary election day.

I knew it two weeks ago when Chris Mathews sat with an arrogant smirk and taunted Sanders’ campaign manager, Jeff Weaver, by asking what would happen to voter turnout if the TV networks prematurely announced that Hillary Clinton had won the Democratic nomination?

So I stayed in bed holding my girlfriend.

I didn’t want to deal with it.

Today was supposed to be a day filled with joy, as the good people of California stood up in mass against the corporate fascism of Hillary Clinton.

Today was supposed to be the latest in a series of YUGE steps Americans took towards restoring our country to a Democracy.

Glancing at my phone to check the time, I turned back over and mumbled

“Somethings wrong. I have 4500 messages.”

The messages were all pretty much the same…

“The media is saying Hillary Clinton won before voting has even begun!!! What do we do?!!”

First of all, let me state that I am just a normal guy.

I am not an insider by any stretch.

There is really nothing special to qualify me as a person who can answer this question.

My college professors always told me that it was important that I establish my expertise at the beginning of every paper, but I’d rather be open and honest with my readers.

I’m just a normal guy.

A little over a year ago, I told my girlfriend and my children that the next 18 months of my life would be dedicated to doing “everything I can to get Bernie Sanders elected.”

And that is exactly what I have done.

I’ve canvassed all over the Midwest, phonebanked from Iowa to California, donated every dime that I could and have created a ton of content for social media outlets, everything from stop-motion animation, all the way to original music production and a plethora of other mediums (this article for example).

My entire life has been dedicated to this movement.

This does not make me special.

I am one of millions.

I am a cog in a powerful and beautiful machine.

But I am flattered that for whatever reason, people look to me for answers.

I invest about 4-8 hours a day to reading, in hopes that I can actually give some small amount of wisdom to the conundrums that arise from being on a team that is literally in direct opposition to the establishment.

So I’m sitting here writing, not because I have the answers, but because I am searching for them.

“The media is saying Hillary Clinton won before voting has even begun!!! What do we do?!!”

First off, if you are one of those who thinks that Hillary Clinton actually has more support than Bernie Sanders, then just stop reading now.

If you are insistent on burying your head deep in the sand then I cannot help you.

This article (like ALL my articles) is for those who are fed up with living in a Republic controlled by corporations.

It’s a funny thing that Bernie Sanders has been overflowing arenas several times daily for a solid year, while Clinton can’t fill a high-school gymnasium and yet there are people who actually believe that she has more votes than Sanders.

She does not.

There are several different types of electioneering and voter suppression happening on the “Democratic” side of the aisle concurrently and NONE of it is being reported by the corporate media.

 

As long as Comcast, NewsCorp and Time Warner are donating millions to the Clinton campaign, I wouldn’t be expecting anything resembling  journalism to be coming out of your television anytime soon.

These multinational corporations want to protect their assets.

They do not pay taxes and they aren’t about to start.

Sanders will tax them, whereas Hillary will continue to allow them to slip through loopholes and store their money in offshore accounts.

Clinton is a great investment if you are a billionaire.

She talks and talks about how she is going to overturn Citizens United, while taking millions from corporations.

Bernie Sanders represents the people.

Hillary Clinton represents the corporations.

 

 

 

So the first part of the answer to the question of…

“The media is saying Hillary Clinton won before voting has even begun!!! What do we do?!!”

Is to contact your local cable provider and disconnect your service.

I know Game of Thrones is on, but that’s what you have to do.

No one ever said revolution would be easy.

 

In addition to the corporate media brainwashing of the masses, we have also had more blatant issues of voter suppression and electioneering.

Clinton has a hard time rigging the caucuses, due to their transparency, but not for lack of effort.

In Iowa she had paid staff dress up in red uniforms and pretend they were Sanders volunteers to give misinformation to caucus goers.

In one incident, where there were thousands of Sanders supporters in a precinct, the Clinton organizer told them that the building had exceeded fire safety capacity and that they needed to go outside.

Once outside, the doors were locked and the Hillary caucus-goers, who were privy to the trickery and told to stay inside, then voted, giving Clinton the precinct “victory”.

There are videos of Clinton campaign staff telling volunteers to break election laws and if caught “ask forgiveness, instead of permission”.

There was more election fraud caught in Illinois, but again this was not reported by corporate media, nor was it corrected.

More allegations in Massachusetts and Kentucky went unreported by corporate media.

In Arizona, there was massive voter suppression, again favoring Hillary Clinton.

The Clinton camp could not be reached for comment on any of these attacks on democracy.

Across the country, normally accurate, exit polling showed numbers not matching up, always in Clinton’s favor.

The “news” outlet’s smoking gun?

They decide to cancel exit polling for the remaining primaries.

In New York, Sanders’ voters were purged and denied their right to vote.

In California, 18 million new No Party Preference voters registered in the weeks leading up to June 7, but on voting day, 12 million of them were not counted, and Clinton somehow won the state even though exit polls showed a 17 point disparity versus how the actual votes were counted.

I am not even speaking of the audacity of closed primaries, which disenfranchised millions of Sanders voters legally.

4.4 million Sanders’ voters were turned away in Arizona and New York combined, not to mention tens of millions more legally disenfranchised nationally.

Obvious fraud in Nevada  was reported and recorded, yet corporate media was absent until they realized that the story wasn’t going away, so they spun it into a fairy tale about how Sanders’ supporters were violent.

It is clear to anyone paying attention that Sanders has millions more supporters than does Clinton.

After a solid year of seeing Sanders speaking to overflow stadiums and Clinton speaking to empty high-school gymnasiums (the average Clinton crowd is 348 people), the question needs to be answered…

Where are all the Hillary Clinton voters?

 

“So the election is rigged.

We already knew that.

What can we do?”

What we can do is Bern the “Democratic” party to the ground.

Instructions from the top are coming.

What you must NOT do, at any cost, is vote for Hillary Clinton.

Trump will increase the severity of his rhetoric going forward and this will cause the weak-minded to say

“I don’t like Hillary, but I will vote for her in order to keep Hitler II out of office.”

Don’t allow yourself to be duped by this game.

A vote for Clinton, after she has rigged our election process, is a vote for fascism.

We will deal with Trump in November.

Had Sanders lost in a fair election he would have endorsed Clinton and she would have defeated Trump, but there is no chance of that happening at this point.

 

Clinton is trailing Trump in the polls and that will only get worse as the reluctant GOP will finally endorse Trump and millions of voters will support Trump, simply because he is not Hillary Clinton.

If you are registered as a Democrat STAY registered Democrat until Sanders has his say at the convention.

Should the Super-delegates commit career suicide and nominate Clinton, Sanders will accept Jill Stein’s invitation to run on The Green Party ticket and the race to get The Green Party on the ballot in all 50 states will begin (currently The Green Party is on the ballot in 20 states, but those states make up more than the 270 electoral votes required to win the general election).

 

Undoubtedly, Clinton will try to rig the election in November.

We have until then to implement safeguards against this.

We must oppose her at every front.

She is a dictator that will take away many of our freedoms if she is able to rise to power.

This is a woman who has a history of supporting spying on American citizens.

If she is able to gain control of the United States Military, millions more will die at her hands.

We must stop her.

The why’s are present.

The how will present itself.

Sharpen your pitchforks, Americans.

It’s All Bernie Sanders’ Fault!!

The American political system has discouraged me for as long as I can remember.

The fact that we do not live in a Democracy is not news to me.

I was the kid with the nose ring, listening to Megadeth, Rage Against the Machine and NWA while everyone I knew was talking about how cool Bill Clinton was because he ate at McDonald’s and played the sax.

Now I’m the jerk who goes up to liberals, points to their Whole Foods bag and says

“Did you know that by shopping at Whole Foods you support a right wing agenda?”

I’m so over-informed that I would be regarded as crazy, if I didn’t know it was better to just keep my mouth shut in most cases.

My girlfriends would think I was awesome during the first few months, but gradually that would melt away and I would find myself cleaning up after the dogs with a Walmart bag.

“Where the hell did this Walmart bag come from?!” I’d say, genuinely confused.

Then a guilt laden confession would spew fourth, in which I found out that my girlfriend was never really a vegetarian and had actually been stopping at Chic Filet after work.

And there was also that time she went to Hobby Lobby.

And she occasionally drank Russian vodka, because it was cheaper.

I never wanted to make anyone feel bad.

I just didn’t want to contribute to something I didn’t believe in.

I didn’t want to make the world a worse place.

I can’t count the number of times we would be having a party and my liberal friends would ask

“Where is the recycling bin?”

And I would have to explain to them that the process of recycling was actually more damaging to the environment, in many cases, due to the trucks that pick up the recycling burning so many fossil fuels and the chemicals they use to break down the items were highly toxic, etc…

I watched their eyes glaze over.

They didn’t want to know this.

They just wanted to feel like they were a good person.

And here I was ruining that for them…

So I just started putting out a recycling bin at parties.

Now everyone can drink their micro-brew, smoke their American Heritage cigarettes and feel like a good liberal.

And that’s what’s important, right?

So what does any of this have to do with being “discouraged with the American political system”?

It’s all Bernie Sanders’ fault!

Before Bernie, I had given up on politicians.

I marched against gun violence, knowing completely that our march would DO NOTHING to stop gun violence.

I marched for immigration reform, knowing that nothing would come of it.

I marched against unjust war and the blood of the innocents kept right on flowing.

I marched for women’s reproductive rights and LBGT+ rights, year after year after year…

And surprise… gradually people’s minds changed.

I tried to remind myself that some things could be affected incrementally.

It was hard, but it was worth it.

My roommate would always say

“The arc of history is long, but it bends towards justice.”

And when I looked at the arc of history, I tried to believe that this was true.

Raise awareness…change minds…change policy.

I was political, but hated politicians.

They were obstacles to be overcome or occasionally they were pawns we could move to our ends, but rarely were they on our side.

They were only on their own side.

I knew about Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Keith Ellison and a few others.

From time to time I would check in on them when I needed to be reminded that there were people in government fighting for our citizens.

I voted for Barack Obama and was excited that our country finally had a person of color in The White House.

I had intended to vote for Hillary Clinton so that women would finally be represented in our nation’s highest office.

I didn’t really think these people would make much of a difference in government, but the sociological ramifications were incredibly important to me.

I was a Democrat.

I was one of the good guys.

I voted for the black guy.

I was just like the people at my parties, throwing their PBR cans into the recycling bin.

I was delusional…

And I was enjoying my delusions.

I really have no one to blame but myself.

I did sign a petition asking Bernie Sanders to run for President.

I didn’t think he would actually do it.

I was so naive back then.

When Bernie said he was running I thought it would be exciting, but I was still going to be a good liberal and probably vote for the woman.

I thought Bernie would run and Hillary would run and loyal Democrats like me would have a tough choice to make, just like we did in 2008.

It was clear from the beginning that Sanders was a strong candidate.

He had passed more legislation.

He was a master at roll call amendments.

He was the king of veteran’s bills.

But Hillary had been my hero for a long time, due to the fact that she took on the insurance companies and tried to get universal healthcare passed.

Hillary was also amazing.

She was for LBGT+ rights.

She was pro-choice.

She was obviously pro-universal healthcare (that changed after the insurance companies donated millions of dollars to her campaign).

Democrats were awesome and I was one of them!!

I was blissfully ignorant, just trying to make up my mind which amazing Democrat to vote for when my friend sent me a text.

“I notice you post a lot of pro-Hillary stuff. As an ally, how do you feel about the idea that Hillary only shifted her stance on gay rights, now that it is political suicide for her not to?”

I was so ignorant.

I replied

“Hasn’t she always been for gay rights?”

My friend started sending me links and videos.

After about 20 minutes, my head was swimming.

“How was this possible?!”

Hillary sounded like a Republican.

And it wasn’t just recent comments she had made before The Senate.

She had toured the country in support of DOMA.

How did I not know this?

I listened to NPR.

I took reusable bags with me to the grocery.

I was a hardcore liberal.

How did I not know this?!?!

Finally, I reconciled that, maybe she was late to the party, but at least she finally came.

She was still a woman and she was still a Democrat.

It’s not as if Bernie Sanders was any better, I reasoned, so I looked it up.

Oh…Bernie Sanders had always been for gay rights it seemed.

Bernie Sanders had opposed DOMA.

He declared a National Gay and Lesbian Day as Mayor of Burlington, VT in 1983.

He faced a lot of backlash for it.

He risked losing the reelection over his unpopular stance.

1983 was NOT a good time to be gay in America.

Reagan was laughing about AIDS and Harvey Milk had been murdered just a few years earlier.

No one was standing up for gay rights, but Bernie Sanders was.

Still, it was one issue, and Clinton was on board now.

Other things had to be weighed, before I made up my mind on who to vote for.

I continued to research…

The Iraq War, a war in which I organized protests against, Sanders had voted against it.

Good.

I reasoned that Clinton did as well.

Upon researching I found that she not only supported the war, but encouraged others to do so.

Later I found out that Clinton actually SOLD HER VOTE to George Bush for $20,000,000,000!!

My head was swimming again.

Half a million innocent people died in that “war”!!!

Isis was created out of that “war”!!!

Iraq didn’t have WMDs!!

I knew they didn’t have WMDs!!

Bernie Sanders knew they didn’t have WMDs!!

Hillary Clinton HAD TO KNOW that Iraq was not a threat to our national security and yet she sold her vote and influenced others to do so.

I felt nauseous.

How had I been so vocal in my support of someone who had knowingly and willingly murdered innocent people?

As I continued to dig, I found out more than I ever wanted to know.

So I have digressed…and now I have upset myself.

I can already hear the Hillary supporters getting angry and calling me a Republican (apparently anyone who disagrees with them is a Republican).

I get their hate-mail every single day.

What I don’t get is why they refuse to do the same research I did.

I’m not a Republican.

I had a Hillary Clinton bumper sticker on my Prius for God’s sake!!

This information is not top-secret.

It’s right there at everyone’s fingertips.

The fact of the matter is that Hillary Clinton has a history of genocide and plans for more!!

Read up on what Hillary did to Honduras and Haiti.

Read up on what Hillary did to Libya.

Educate yourself about her plans to “obliterate Iran“.

Read up on what Hillary plans to do to Syria.

Read up on Hillary Clinton’s ties to child labor in India.

Millions of innocent people have died.

If Clinton is President MILLIONS MORE WILL DIE!!

This is information that ANYONE can access, but there are millions of Americans who simply do not want to know what she has done or what she plans to do.

It is much easier for those people to insult other Democrats and call them Republicans rather than to educate themselves about why Clinton would be the second coming of George Bush.

Millions of lifetime Democrats are screaming from the rooftops, as our country is about to fall off a giant cliff and the Hillary voters are brazenly dismissing them.

If you are planning on supporting Clinton, ask yourself “what is in those Wall Street transcripts?”.

Why is she hiding them?

And why is she hiding classified emails from the FBI?

Look, I want a woman President too, but not this one.

We are all being duped by a Republican in disguise.

When a Hillary supporter finds out that I refuse to support Clinton in the general election, should it come to that, they always say the same thing.

They don’t talk about her policies.

They don’t talk about her good points.

They always say “Vote for Hillary or we will have President Trump.”

This is a sad and pathetic selling point for their candidate.

It makes it seem as if Hillary doesn’t have any good points.

My reply is usually…

“I am less afraid of Trump committing genocide than I am someone who has a history of committing genocide.”

Trump is an idiot.

He is a buffoon.

He is not even a serious candidate.

He can’t run a marriage.

He can’t run a business.

He sure as hell cannot run a country.

Trump is the result of a party that has preached hate and fear for so long that some carnival barker can come in and make a mockery of their entire party and still win their nomination.

Donald Trump is a punchline to an offensive joke.

But I refuse to vote for a genocidal maniac just because your ignorance allows you to believe that Hillary Clinton is somehow less dangerous than Donald Trump.

Clinton has a proven track record of mass murder.

You CANNOT expect millions of people who know that to vote for her.

You are asking them to be partisan to genocide.

And stop pretending that refusing to vote for Hillary is the same thing as voting for Trump.

 

 

It’s not the same thing.

Both of them are awful and a “choice” between the two of them is no choice at all.

Should the DNC choose to push Hillary Clinton on a nation of people who have twice now (remember 2008) told them that they will not vote for her, then THEY are in effect supporting Donald Trump.

Telling someone who they MUST vote for is fascist and anti-democratic.

I won’t vote for Hillary Clinton and millions of Democrats feel the same way.

I will vote for Jill Stein if the DNC forces their corrupt, corporate candidate on me.

We may not win, but we will send a message to the DNC that we are tired of their corruption.

Perhaps next time they will choose to listen to the voice of The People.

How Bernie Sanders WILL Win the Democratic Nomination

At the time of this writing Hillary Clinton has amassed a 333 delegate lead over Senator Bernie Sanders.

The only conceivable scenario for Sanders to achieve the number of delegates required to gain the nomination is if the Super-delegates switch to Bernie Sanders.

This is extremely unlikely to happen, as Clinton has literally purchased the Super-delegates.

It is of course possible that if the FBI indicts Hillary on treason charges, as a result of the mass deletion of emails which contained, what is most likely weapons deals she made with terrorist leaders, then the Super-delegates would surely switch allegiances, to avoid going down with the ship.

This is possible, but not something you can bank on if you are a Sanders supporter.

But there IS a way that Sanders can gain the Democratic Party nomination and the good news is that YOU are an important part of this process.

Bernie has known all along that the Democratic party was not going to allow him a fair primary, just because he traded in his Independent status for Democratic.

He is an outsider.

It is ridiculous for Sanders’ supporters to expect fair treatment by an organization that has already spent tens of millions of dollars grooming their candidate.

Hillary was absolutely right when she said that Bernie was not a Democrat.

This is not an indictment of Sanders, but rather an indictment on Democrats.

Sanders is what Democrats used to be, whereas Clinton is a reminder of what the party has become.

When Clinton said that Bernie was not a Democrat, she did not realize it, but she was actually paying him a compliment.

Sanders is in no way reflective of the sorry state of the Democratic party.

Sanders will either recreate the party in his image or he will crush it on his way to the Presidency.

The choice is up to him and his supporters.

Hillary Clinton literally has zero control over what happens to her party.

Sanders holds all the cards going forward.

If Sanders is unlikely to garner the 2,383 delegates needed to win the nomination, then why is he continuing to run as a Democrat, instead of switching back to Independent to run as a third party?

When we fully grasp what must happen for Sanders to eliminate Clinton and gain the Democratic nomination then we realize that now is the time for Sanders’ supporters to work harder than ever.

But it is also time for Senator Sanders to form a contingency plan and declare his Independent Party status.

This gives the DNC motivation to treat Sanders fairly at the contested convention and provides a fall-back option should Hillary seal the nomination

Sanders path to nomination is narrow, but entirely achievable.

And it is exciting to note that Sanders supporters can play a YUGE role in this process.

Not me, US, remember?

So how do we do this?

 

Like many of you, I was once a proud Hillary Clinton supporter.

When Bernie Sanders announced his candidacy, I became incredibly excited about his platforms.

He caused me to learn more about Hillary Clinton’s positions and as I learned more about each candidate, I was surprised that I preferred Sanders on EVERY SINGLE ISSUE.

Where Clinton was strong, Sanders was stronger.

Where Clinton was weak, Sanders was a titan.

If you were anything like me, you were very happy with the fact that you had a choice between good and great.

I was over the moon excited to support Sanders, but if Hillary were the nominee, I was planning to vote for her.

I no longer feel this way.

Millions of others have shifted along the same lines.

What brought about this transformation and why is it important to Bernie Sanders winning the Presidency?

To put it bluntly, Hillary Clinton ran an awful campaign.

She did things that highlighted her personal failings and illuminated the cracks in her ethics, that lead millions of people to believe that she would be a disastrous leader.

Her attempts to assimilate Sanders supporters back into the fold have disgusted me to a point where I feel that I can no longer support her.

When you hire people to go on The Internet and make up fake stories about a good man like Senator Sanders then you will not get my vote.

When you hire people to upload child pornography onto Bernie Sanders discussion groups so you can have those groups banned from the Internet, I have to question what type of person could resort to such despicable maneuvers.

I cannot support a candidate who uses the tragic deaths of kindergarten children as political tools.

The point of this article is not to highlight the growing number of reasons that I cannot and will not support Hillary Clinton.

If you really want to read about that, then I suggest you read the article I wrote outlining said reasons.

Suffice it to say that I will not vote for her and the fear of Trump or Cruz will have no bearing on the issue.

I am an Independent voter.

Hillary Clinton caused me to leave the Democratic party.

I will not be returning until she is gone and I know millions of others feel the same.

 

There are millions of people who will vote for Bernie Sanders, but refuse to vote for Hillary Clinton.

The number is significant enough to affect the general election.

In fact, Hillary Clinton cannot win the general election, without the help of Sanders’ supporters.

She will lose to Donald Trump.

This is important, because above all, the DNC wants to win.

They want to win so much, that they would cut their losses with Hillary Clinton and support Bernie Sanders, if they took the threat of millions of people refusing to vote for Hillary seriously.

They do not.

They are establishment politicians and they are completely out of touch with the will of the people.

Only through understanding and accepting that Sanders’ supporters will not support Clinton, will the Super-delegates switch their pledges to Sanders.

And the only way that happens is through a contested convention.

Hillary Clinton does not understand that she does not have the backing of Independent voters.

The DNC does not grasp it either.

They are used to the traditional race, where two corporate Democrats spar and then the loser endorses the other in exchange for a cabinet position.

Sanders does not want a position in Hillary’s cabinet.

Hillary has nothing to offer him and she has nothing to scare him with.

Sanders is the ultimate thorn in the Clinton paw.

He simply cannot be bought.

What is our role in this chaos?

Our role is to support Senator Sanders and ONLY Senator Sanders.

But what if Hillary Clinton wins the nomination?

Isn’t she a better alternative than Donald Trump or Ted Cruz?

Undoubtedly it is better to have a Democrat in the White House in nearly any circumstance, but Clinton has simply gone too far.

She has pushed many voters to the point where they would actually feel like they had compromised their personal values if they supported her.

Recently I overheard a Hillary supporter trying to convince an Independent voter that he HAD to vote for Hillary if she were the Democratic nominee.

He replied…

“To vote for her would disparage everything my sons fought and died for.”

Selling your Iraq vote to George Bush can maybe be forgiven, but never rewarded.

Her history of dishonesty (remember the Bosnian sniper fire) and secrecy means that we cannot know for sure what we would get should she come to power.

What we do know is that she has a lot to hide (private servers, deleted emails, Wall Street transcripts, etc).

Many people, myself included, do not look at it as a choice between Hillary or the GOP.

We look at it as a ethical choice.

We simply WILL NOT vote for someone who has blood on their hands.

If we vote for Hillary Clinton, after the tactics she has employed in this election (not to mention the awful things she did and said in 2008) then we are sanctioning all that we have fought so vehemently against.

If we vote for Clinton we are saying that voter suppression is okay.

If we vote for Clinton we are saying that hiring people to silence free speech is okay.

If we vote for Clinton we are saying that selling arms to Middle-Eastern terrorists is okay.

We are not okay with any of this.

Our vote is our voice.

And fear of Trump is not a reason to vote for someone we already know is a tyrant.

We must all rise up as one and declare that Bernie Sanders is our choice and let the DNC know loud and clear that we will not support Hillary Clinton should she gain the nomination.

Bernie Sanders goal is to win enough delegates to force a contested convention in Philadelphia on July 25th.

Here Bernie and his supporters (both inside and outside the convention) will be allowed to make their case to the DNC that it is Bernie or Bust.

The DNC and it’s Super-delegates need to see the tremendous force that supports Senator Sanders up close and personal and see that we are completely serious about our refusal to support Clinton.

Furthermore they need to know that if they rig the convention to favor Clinton, then Sanders can simply run as an Independent, thereby quelling any chance the DNC has of controlling The White House.

Supporting Sanders and ONLY Sanders is not about being tricky or disingenuous.

This is not a bluff or empty threat.

This is a deal we make with ourselves to not be bullied with fear tactics into supporting a candidate that we do not approve of.

It’s not a political choice.

It’s a moral choice.

So vote for Bernie.

Phonebank for Bernie.

Canvass for Bernie and donate to Bernie.

 

Bernie is not continuing on in this campaign to waste our donation money.

Bernie is not continuing on in this campaign to make a point.

As he has said repeatedly, he is doing this to win.

But he needs massive action from US to do so.

Princess Hillary and The Great Wizard Sanders

There once was a woman named Princess Hillary.

Princess Hillary had everything.

She was rich.

She was powerful.

She flew on private dragons and everyone knew her name.

She had everything, except the one thing she wanted most.

She wanted to be the most powerful person in the world.

She wanted to be Queen of Americonia.

The only problem Princess Hillary had was that no one seemed to like her.

The people of Republica did not like her.

The people of Democratia did not like her.

And the people of Independence absolutely despised her.

“Why oh why does Americonia have to have this stupid Democracy? I much prefer a Monarchy.” she mused to no one in particular.

Princess Hillary was very sad.

So her husband, Former King William, concocted a plan.

Former King William was a powerful man with a magic wand that often got him into trouble

One day he said to Princess Hillary

“What if we got someone who everybody hated even more than you, to run against you for control of the kingdom? That way, the people that don’t like you, which is, well, you know, pretty much everyone, will still vote for you, because they will hate the other person even more?”

“That’s a great idea!!” said Princess Hillary “But wherever shall we find someone who people hate even more than me?!”

And with that, Former King William called his old friend, the Arch-Bishop of Douchebaggingham, the pathetic Lord Drumpf.

Drumpf had always been a member of Democratia, but actually relished the opportunity to pretend to be from Republica.

“It will be great fun!!” Drumpf pronounced “I will have those idiots from Republica eating out of my tiny hands and the Democratians will be so afraid of me, they will do whatever you say, Princess Hillary! We will have ever so much fun, with our ruse. The peasants are so stupid!! Delightful!!”

“And the people of Douchebaggingham will love you even more!” remarked Former King William “For they all have small hands too and have a fantastic fear of everything!!”

Former King William and Princess Hillary were delighted and promised Lord Drumpf all the power he could ever imagine.

For such a tiny man with such tiny hands, the thought of such power made his giant orange head swim.

When The Great Wizard Sanders heard that Princess Hillary was out to deceive the good people of Americonia yet again (this was not the first time), he saddled up his unicorn and headed from the east to let the Americonians hear the truth.

He rode his magical horse from town to town, telling the people that they had a long forgotten magic inside of them.

He told them that by joining forces, they could cast incredible spells of prosperity all over the land.

Princess Hillary and Lord Drumpf laughed at The Great Wizard Sanders.

For they knew they had a great advantage.

For you see, there was a magical box installed in every home in the kingdom.

And nothing ever made it to the magic box, without being approved by the most powerful people in the kingdom.

Princess Hillary and Lord Drumpf could use it to spread their lies far and wide.

How far could The Great Wizard Sanders get, just by speaking to the peasants face to face?

Not very far at all, Hillary and Drumpf reasoned.

For a while the great plan of Princess Hillary and Lord Drumpf was working perfectly.

The people did not like Princess Hillary, but Lord Drumpf would say outrageous things and Princess Hillary would be right there on the magical box reminding the people each day that she was not as bad as Lord Drumpf.

In fact she even considered changing her campaign slogan to

“Not As Bad As Drumpf!” with an arrow point to the right and a picture of Drumpf’s stupid face right at the end of the arrow.

And most people agreed.

Princess Hillary was incredibly unlikable, but Lord Drumpf was even worse it seemed.

Each day the magic box told the people what awful thing Lord Drumpf had said or done and each day, there was Princess Hillary reminding the people

“I may be awful, but I am not as awful as Drumpf. If you do not pick me, then you will have to deal with him.”

And each day the people hung their heads in sadness, wondering why they had to choose between a donkey or an ass and wondering if there was even a difference at all.

The people had heard of The Great Wizard Sanders, but the magic box had said that he didn’t have a chance to win and that if you liked him then you were a white, close-minded male who hated women.

This confused many of the people in the kingdom who noticed that they were not only not all white, but they were also not all male and all of them agreed that they were neither closed minded, nor hated women. In fact many of them noticed they were women.

The Great Wizard Sanders, undaunted, continued traveling from town to town, spreading the word about the dormant magic that lies inside of all people.

And some people had started to listen…

And those people had started to tell other people.

As belief in the magic grew, Princess Hillary instructed Lord Drumpf to say even more outrageous things.

“They must hate you!!!” she screamed “They must fear you so much that they will vote for me!!”

“I’m trying!!” Lord Drumpf assured her “I keep saying everything you tell me to say, but people don’t care. Everyone still hates you more than me. It’s the wizard who is causing all the problems. He cast a spell called The Internet and the peasants are using it to correct the lies that the magic box is telling them. The people now KNOW what a truly awful person you are. Before The Internet they only suspected it!!”

“Then we must stop this Internet!!” said Princess Hillary “Bring it to me!!”

Lord Drumpf knew that Princess Hillary could never understand the intricacies of The Internet, so he countered with another proposal.

“You are a very powerful lady, Princess Hillary. Why don’t you talk to your friends in the various kingdoms and make sure that the people who want to vote for the wizard, cannot vote for him?”

“That is an excellent idea.” said Princess Hillary.

And with that, she began contacting the Lords of the various kingdoms.

“Just throw away their votes, when they vote for the wizard. Or better yet, just tell them they are not allowed to vote. Also I will have my husband, Former King William show up at the polling places and instruct the peasants to vote for me. Just make sure I win! After all, it’s my turn!! I’ll begin preparations for my coronation forthwith.”

For a while, Princess Hillary’s new plan worked.

Many people gave up once their ability to vote had been taken away from them.

“The Great Wizard Sanders was lying about the magic we have inside us.” some said.

“We can never have human rights in Americonia. That is only for other kingdoms. Princess Hillary is just too powerful.” others said.

Princess Hillary even offered a chance for The Great Wizard Sanders to surrender.

In fact, she offered it like a hundred freakin times.

But The Great Wizard Sanders refused to give up.

He continued to spread his magical message across the entire kingdom.

The message was so powerful that even people from across the great seas came to hear and support it.

When the people found out about Princess Hillary throwing away all their votes, they became furious and Princess Hillary had to run away from the angry mobs.

But there was no place for Princess Hillary to run, once the secret police that ruled over the kingdoms found out about Princess Hillary’s failed attempts to use The Internet (apparently she didn’t know how to use it properly and cast several thousand Deletion spells on her top secret magic letters).

Soon they came to her castle to take her away.

But Princess Hillary was too smart for them.

She called her home planet and told them that she needed “emergency extraction!!!”.

“Our plan to take over the world has failed miserably!!” she screamed in an incredibly shrill tone.

“And I’m pretty sure that Lord Drumpf is actually an invader from the planet Douchenozzle!!” she added.

Alas the space ship took Princess Hillary away and the good people of Americonia rejoiced.

They were safe again.

The Great Wizard Sanders slayed evil Lord Drumpf and the people used the magic they had found inside themselves to transform their kingdoms into places where all people could thrive and prosper.

People destroyed their magic boxes and every one learned how to properly cast The Internet to find truth and science.

And they all lived happily ever after.

And oh yeah…

One more thing..

The Village Idiot, Ted Cruz, finally accepted his homosexuality, denounced religion and released the Ted in Your Bed line of adult sex toys and lubricants.

He was a lot happier and more likable after that.

The Disappearance of Hillary Clinton

When Hillary Clinton says

“I don’t think we should be paying for college for Donald Trump’s kids.”

(which she says pretty much every time she stands in front of a microphone)

She exposes something very deep within herself.

On the surface this is simply a dig at Bernie Sanders’ plan to make PUBLIC colleges free for qualified applicants.

It’s an odd criticism coming from a Democrat.

In fact, making higher education accessible to all Americans seems like something that Hillary Clinton would have fought for once upon a time.

But now she has this carefully constructed political line…

“I don’t think we should be paying for college for Donald Trump’s kids.”

(Recently she changed ‘kids’ to ‘grand-kids’. I guess someone pointed out to her that Donald Trump is 69 years old and his kids are all adults)

When she says this line her supporters go crazy.

They love it.

Of course Donald Trump’s kids (or grand-kids) would never attend a PUBLIC university.

When she says this it reveals that she doesn’t think much of the intelligence of her audience.

An intelligent person would not applaud.

Instead they might say

“Bernie Sanders doesn’t want to send Donald Trump’s kids to PUBLIC college.

He wants to allow poor kids an equal educational opportunity.

He wants to stop importing workers for America’s most prestigious jobs and start hiring Americans again.

He knows that an educated workforce will make America the world’s top economy once more.

He wants to allow poor kids the same opportunities that the wealthy and middle class enjoy.

What Bernie Sanders is talking about (as usual) is equality.”

What Sanders offers is the rebirth of the American dream.

If you oppose the idea of poor children in America having the same rights and opportunities as wealthy children then in what way are you a Democrat?

Aren’t Democrats supposed to represent the poor and disenfranchised?

 

What Sanders is talking about is everyone having a fair chance to improve their station in life.

What he is talking about is hope.

Who would take such a pure message and twist it?

How can you oppose this and call yourself a Democrat?

When I first heard Sanders speak of this idea, I knew he would find radical opposition among Republicans

I did not know that he would find opposition inside of his own party.

Clinton says that Sanders is not a Democrat, referring to the fact that he has declared himself an Independent for the last 30 years.

Perhaps Mrs. Clinton is right.

But semantics aside, Sanders is representing the classic ideals of The Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton is shooting those ideals down.

So who is the real Democrat?

I recall when Hillary fought for universal healthcare.

The Republicans and the insurance companies teamed up to defeat her.

I loved Hillary so much back then.

I loved her so much that I made excuses for her support of DOMA.

I loved her so much that I made excuses for her support of her husband’s crime bill, which targeted poor blacks for incarceration.

Where did my Hillary go?

Who is this person who says that Americans do not deserve healthcare as a right?

The insurance companies that she once opposed now donate millions to her.

Suddenly she says that Americans don’t have the right to healthcare, when every other industrialized nation on Earth has made universal healthcare a reality?

Where is the Hillary Clinton I once knew?

Why do poor people not deserve the same opportunities as wealthy people?

Why do you oppose a living wage?

Why do you oppose healthcare for ALL Americans?

Why do you oppose higher education for poor American children?

Why do you call yourself a Democrat when you increasingly support the views of Republicans?

Where did my Hillary go?

Regime change in Libya is NOT a Democratic value.

Killing 1,033,000 innocent Iraqi civilians is NOT a Democratic value.

When Hillary Clinton says

“I don’t think we should be paying for college for Donald Trump’s kids.”

She is saying that she does not think much of her audience.

She doesn’t think that her audience understands the difference between public colleges and Ivy League schools.

But more importantly, she is saying that poor American children should not have the same opportunities as Donald Trump’s children.

It makes me wonder what happened to the Hillary Clinton I used to know and love.

It makes me wonder what happened to her Democratic values.

 

Hillary or Bernie? Let Trump Decide!

When I am out talking to potential voters, I always start with…

“Who do you support in the Presidential election?’

After they tell me, I then follow up with my favorite question..

“Oh yeah? What do you like about them?”

I’ve noticed some definite patterns.

Cruz supporters always talk about how “Obama is ruining the country.”

Trump supporters usually say..

“He knows what it takes to run a business and America needs someone with business sense.”

or…

“He says what’s on his mind.”

I always figured they would say

“I’m a huge racist and so is Trump..”, but so far no one has admitted to this.

Bernie supporters always say that “He is for the people.” or some version of that.

And Hillary supporters usually say…

“She’s experienced.” and “I think it’s time for a woman.”

or…

Wait for it…

Wait for it..

“She’s more electable.”

Is Hillary Clinton more electable?

Poll after poll keeps saying that Hillary Clinton might be less electable (even UNelectable) in a general election.

Let’s examine why.

And before we do, let’s clarify that we are talking about Reuters and Quinnipiac polling, not some online poll.

These polls have been historically accurate for decades.

After all, voting is still a poll, and these organizations have it down to a literal science.

So why is Hillary Clinton so strong in The Primary, yet possibly unelectable vs The GOP?

Let’s examine the reasons.

 

Hillary is a Very Powerful Primary Candidate Because of Her Strong Support In the South, but this Actually Works Against Her In the General Election

Hillary Clinton is a strong Democrat in the south, but it is STILL the south and the south will vote for a Republican in the general.

In the Democratic primary election you do not need to win the state.

You can lose, but still take home delegates.

It is a race to see who can get to 2,383 delegates first.

In the general election it is winner take all (except for Maine and Nebraska, both Sanders’ states, which are slightly more complicated)

Losing a state by a count of 51% to 49% is exactly the same as losing by 100%.

The states that Hillary is strong in during the primary, are states she simply cannot win during the general.

Even the most die-hard Hillary supporter knows that she cannot win the southern states vs Republicans.

Those states have been red for a hundred years and neither Hillary nor Bernie is going to be able to change that in 2016.

But Sanders is much stronger in the states that Democrats need to win in November.

Sanders strongly outperforms Clinton in states like Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado and New Hampshire.

These are the type of states that Democrats have to win in November or else Republicans will regain control of The White House and The Supreme Court.

Sanders is much stronger than Clinton in the states that Democrats need to defeat Republicans in, so in this way, he is a much more electable Democrat.

Let’s examine more reasons…

 

Some Republicans Will Vote for Bernie Sanders but Hillary Clinton is Universally Hated Among GOP Voters

Republicans are dissatisfied with their leadership.

Much like Democrats, they are rejecting the corporate sponsored puppets who have been thrust upon them.

Much of Donald Trump’s success is due simply to the fact that he is not your typical corporate candidate.

Some Republicans will vote for him simply because they view him as more real and honest.

Conversely, many Republicans cannot stand Donald Trump and in a general election tens of thousands of Republicans have openly stated that they will vote for Bernie Sanders over Trump.

They may not agree with Bernie Sanders’ Democratic Socialism, but they appreciate his honesty, candor and the fact that he does not represent corporate interests.

This doesn’t help Bernie Sanders in the primary, but makes him an incredibly powerful force in a general election.

Could you imagine if there were a Republican that Democrats were willing to cross the line to vote for?

I personally can’t, but if there ever were such a candidate, it would make for a landslide victory for The GOP.

Fortunately for The Democrats, for the first time in decades, we have a candidate that appeals to both parties.

Bernie Sanders bi-partisan appeal makes him much stronger in the general election.

 

Many Republicans Who Do Not Like Trump Will Still Vote For Him If Hillary Is the Democratic Nominee

Republicans loathe Hillary.

As Democrats we know this.

This is something that Hillary should be proud of.

The GOP is ludicrous and to be an enemy to The GOP is nothing to hang one’s head over.

But the reality is that Republicans are angry and want to unite around a candidate.

The problem they have is that the only candidate that excites their base is an outsider and many Republicans will simply stay home on election day, rather than support a candidate that does not share their values.

Sanders vs Trump means that a lot of Republicans simply won’t vote and, as we discussed, a small percentage will actually vote for Sanders.

Hillary Clinton is the cure for Republican voter apathy.

Hillary Clinton is so hated among Republicans, that record numbers will show up, not to vote for Trump, but simply to vote against Hillary.

That spells big problems for The Democratic Party if Clinton is the nominee.

Say what you will about Hillary, but one thing is for sure, she polarizes her opposition.

A Hillary Clinton nomination means EVERYONE who is a registered Republican will show up to vote against her.

This could pose a huge problem…

Especially when combined with the fact that..

 

Independents Will Vote For Bernie but Not For Clinton

Americans are fed up with the corporate two-party system.

As a result we have millions of voters who now refuse to side with either party.

They may register as one or the other, but when polled they declare themselves as Independent.

Independents now make up the largest voting group in America at 42%.

Independents, overwhelmingly support Bernie Sanders.

Trump is their second choice.

Corporate candidates like Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio and Hillary Clinton aren’t even on their radar.

In fact they became Independents largely due to their mistrust of corporate candidates.

This spells big trouble for Democrats if Hillary is the nominee, because millions of Independents will vote for Trump or simply not vote at all.

We may not like it, but that’s the reality of it.

Begging, pleading or threatening with Independents to vote for Hillary just to stop Trump will not work.

Many would rather watch the two-party system crumble, then to vote for a corporate candidate.

But we also need to consider that…

 

A High Percentage of Lifetime Democrats Refuse to Vote for Clinton

It’s just bad timing for Hillary.

Americans are angry and fed-up after living through the recession, the collapse of the housing market and paying for the Wall Street bailout.

Hillary is a very strong candidate, but many Democrats view her as the status quo.

They are tired of seeing corporate sponsored candidates and simply refuse to vote for them.

Had Hillary won the nomination in 2008, she would have surely beaten McCain and become President.

But, as we’ve discussed, this is not 2008.

Many Americans view Hillary as having caused their financial woes and her ties to Wall Street are a severe handicap for her in the general election.

Furthermore, this is the age of social media and many things that voters didn’t know about (or even care about) in 2008 are now out in the open.

Hillary’s relationship with Monsanto has cost her Democratic support.

Hillary’s relationship with Wal-Mart has cost her Democratic support.

Hillary’s relationship with the for-profit prison industry has cost her Democratic support.

Hillary lost favor among many Democrats and they went looking for another option.

Sanders filled that void for many former Hillary supporters and she hurt herself severely by using campaign tactics that, in effect, polarized former supporters against her.

Hillary supporters can be angry about it, but they would be wise to accept the reality.

You cannot force people to vote for a candidate they feel has betrayed them.

And the threat of Trump will not scare them back into Camp-Hillary.

They are a scorned group and tens of thousands of them have pledged to vote Green Party instead of supporting a candidate they feel deceived them.

Hillary Clinton does not have the support of her own party and this makes her nearly unelectable in the general election.

 

 

Vote For Whomever You Want

The point of this breakdown is not to sway readers into voting for one candidate over another, but to inform Democrats of the risks and obstacles we will have to overcome if we elect either candidate to represent us in the general election.

I did not mention Hillary’s private email scandal during this article, because no one knows what will happen with this.

It could range anywhere from charges being dismissed, all the way up to treason charges being pursued.

Regardless this is definitely going to be the topic of much discussion should Hillary gain the nomination and ultimately could be a hill too steep to climb with the aforementioned obstacles we already discussed.

Sanders refuses to mention the email scandal, but Trump has already stated that he will make it the main topic of debate should Hillary win.

I am a feminist and see the appeal of (FINALLY!!) having a female President, but I am also a Democrat and my number one priority is keeping The White House in Democratic control.

I will support whichever Democrat gains the nomination, but it is clear that it would be a huge uphill battle getting Hillary elected, whereas Sanders wins in a landslide of historic proportions against Trump and other GOP challengers.

A high voter turnout means that we can also begin to take back control of The House and Senate, so that the next President will not have their hands tied the way that Obama did.

Make no mistake, this primary will be close and your vote definitely matters.

Democrats have the opportunity to take total control of the government over the next few years.

But we also run the risk of being completely locked out and losing our freedoms to a fascist GOP regime.

I will throw all my support behind Hillary if she gets the Democratic nomination, but based on what we have learned about who is more electable in the general, Bernie Sanders is the best bet for Democrats who value party control of The White House and Supreme Court.

In fact, if Sanders gets the nomination in June then we can pretty much laugh our way through the summer, because he  will absolutely annihilate any GOP contender.

I was a die-hard Hillary Clinton supporter from 2007 through 2015, but this is not an issue of emotion.

This is an issue of what is best for our country.

We have to beat The Republicans.

If we do not..

All is lost.
