What Bernie Sanders Gave to America Today

1

Today, my hero, Bernie Sanders, endorsed Hillary Clinton, a woman that I truly believe is sociopathic, for the office of the President of the United States and then immediately the sun hid behind a cloud and it began to rain.

I was grateful for the rain.

It’s been pretty humid here for the last several days and I was in need of the empathy.

I fought back tears as I left the gym.

I am not afraid to cry.

I just prefer to do it while I am writing.

I went home and grabbed my laptop.

I knew all this fire stinging my eyes was way too complex to be worked out with a box of tissues or a ton of free weights.

I made a point to stay off social media.

I had no time for haters, turncoats or conspiracy theorists.

I drove to the coffee shop and put in my ear buds.

Behind my glasses, I watched people moving here and there, seemingly clueless to the great turmoil taking place in their country.

I did not envy them.

I am awake now.

And I will never sleep again.

Bernie Sanders

Bernie Sanders is the greatest politician of my lifetime.

He is the greatest statesman of my lifetime.

He is the greatest human being I have ever had the privilege of witnessing.

He is the voice of my generation and long after he ceases to speak, his words will echo throughout the hearts and minds of millions.

Bernie Sanders is an activist.

He stood up for me before I even knew his name…before I was even born.

Bernie Sanders inspired tens of millions of people to get outside of their comfort zones and shove their middle fingers in the face of evil.

Bernie Sanders was “dangerous”.

Bernie Sanders rattled cages.

Bernie Sanders raged against the machine!!

Bernie Sanders taught us all how this thing was supposed to be done.

Bernie Sanders is a prophet and a Buddha.

He continued to speak peace when all those around him declared war.

He woke up an entire generation and inspired tens of thousands to perform a hostile takeover of their government.

Bernie Sanders is a true revolutionary.

So why the hell did he endorse Hillary Clinton?

3

Do not tell me that Bernie Sanders is just another bought and paid for politician.

To even utter such nonsense would show complete and all-encompassing ignorance.

This man has fought for what is right when literally no one was fighting by his side.

This man went toe to toe with Alan Greenspan for eight and a half hours.

This man spoke the truth why corrupt politicians laughed at him and left the room in blatant shows of disrespect.

Bernie Sanders was the tree, falling again and again in the D.C. forest of corruption.

Bernie Sanders was the one hand clapping against the fascist regime, when you and I were still watching CNN and calling it news.

Bernie Sanders is The Truth.

So don’t even think about telling me that Bernie Sanders sold out, as if suddenly, after 40 years of trying, the powers that be, finally found some secret treasure that Senator Sanders could not resist.

And do not waste my time with your foolish conspiracy theories about how Hillary Clinton threatened him in some way.

They have been threatening Bernie Sanders for decades.

Bernie Sanders does not succumb to threats.

Bernie Sanders endorsed Hillary Clinton because he cares more about us than he does about selfish glory.

Bernie Sanders changed the world again today and if you weren’t watching closely, you may have missed it.

Bernie Sanders just sent millions of poor kids to college.

Bernie Sanders just saved millions of lives.

4

As part of Bernie Sanders’ agreement to endorse Hillary Clinton, Clinton had to agree to support free public universities for low income families.

This is not something that she wanted.

So why will she keep up her end of the bargain?

Because she is driven by ego.

She wants to be recognized as a good person and a good president.

I know she lies and breaks promises and Bernie knows this too.

But she won’t break this one, because Sanders handed her the carrot, but saved the stick for us.

Today marks a reset button for Hillary Clinton.

Bernie Sanders gave her a chance to step up and do the right thing and if she doesn’t, then she will find that there are tens of millions of sticks all over this country that will cut through the air simultaneously and make her presidency a complete debacle.

I am referring to the tens of millions of activists who will watch Hillary Clinton’s every move from this day forward and make her life difficult every time she breaks a promise to the American people.

I am referring to the tens of thousands of activists who are running for public office, who will take over our House and Senate and infect change from the inside.

I am referring to you.

You have a stick and I encourage you to use it.

Because of Sanders’ sacrifice today, millions of American children will have a way to escape extreme poverty and follow their dreams.

Because of Sanders’ sacrifice today, there is now light penetrating the darkness in the places that our government forgot to represent.

I, like you, wanted Bernie to win the Presidency and there is little doubt that he could have done so through an Independent run, but if he had won, he would have met with extreme opposition from the establishment that owns every branch of our government.

Sanders would have toiled in office, waiting for new elections, so that activists could take over the seats required to pass the bills that the establishment would strike down.

So Sanders did what any wise old warrior would do.

He conceded the battle, so that we might win the war.

And Clinton will get the college bill passed through, whereas Sanders would not have been able to.

She has the contacts in the House and Senate to make it happen.

It will become the cornerstone of her presidency.

She will act like she thought of it and the uninformed will talk about what a hero she is and she will stand on the stage and wave and smile and some impoverished child somewhere will show their report card to their mother and their mother will smile and say..

“Thanks to Hillary, you will be able to become a doctor if you keep this up.”

And those millions of educated young people will go out and change the world for the better.

So just in case you missed it..

That’s what Bernie Sanders gave to America today.

Dear Democratic Party, I’m Leaving You and I’m Taking the Kids

vote

As an American citizen, I have some expectation that I have a voice in my government.

This is probably naive, but this belief is a huge part of the foundation on which I build my happiness.

This is not simply an entitlement.

It is a right paid in blood by the warriors who came before me and one I have a duty to pay forward.

Millions gave their lives for democracy.

America invades developing nations in the name of democracy.

Our country was founded on the idea of giving liberty to those who were oppressed by tyrannical governments.

Democracy is the cornerstone of what makes us America and if we are even to begin to make the argument that this is the greatest country in the world, then we must first be willing to fight for the rights of all citizens to have a say in this social contract we are all engaged in.

Rigging an election, rather it is done in a blatant manner, like actually using machines to flip votes or in a more subtle manner, like working with the corporate media to convince Americans that one candidate has already won, in an attempt to discourage citizens from exercising their voice, is more than just a slap in the face to the American voter, it is an assault on the sacrifices of the brave women and men who laid down their lives for our right to participate in a democracy.

It is the ultimate in cowardice.

It is a crime against our ancestors.

The blood of heroes means nothing to those who feed on power.

The cries of the poor and evaporating middle-class disappear into a bottomless, corporate void.

They see an America where you have to pay to be heard.

They see an America where money buys power and the poverty stricken fight for the crumbs of a faux democracy.

Tried-1-1024x536

I have always been a proud Democrat.

I spent my life going to rallies and protests, writing letters, raising awareness on liberal issues and trying to help those in need.

The Democrats aligned themselves closely with the issues that were near and dear to my heart.

For 25 years I fought for LBGT+ rights, fair immigration laws, a woman’s right to choose, gun control and fair working conditions for all Americans.

Although I am a cliche vegetarian, bleeding-heart artist, who boycotts Monsanto, WalMart, Chic Fil A and Hobby Lobby…

Although I am a steadfast ally for equality for all humans..

Although, I am in every way, a liberal..

I am no longer, in any way, a Democrat.

My former party has aligned itself with corporate greed and although you won’t find them pounding The Bible or fighting against Roe v Wade, they are every bit as reprehensible, in the fact that they are now loyal only to corporations and they no longer represent the will of the people.

When my party decides to build A WALL(!!!) around their convention, in fear that perhaps democracy might find a way in, then they are no longer my party.

When my party crowns an Empress, before the first vote is even cast, then they are no longer my party.

When my party colludes with corporate media heads to falsify “the news” and deceive the American people into not voting, then they are no longer my party.

In August, when I arrive home from the “Democratic” Convention and the (not so) super-delegates hammer the final nail into the coffin of our democracy by anointing Hillary Clinton, then I will leave the “Democratic” Party and spend the remainder of my years fighting against them.

RussianHackersDNC

This is not about sour grapes.

I’m a leftist in a conservative state.

I’m used to losing.

This is about defending democracy against a party that repeatedly used closed primary voter suppression and blatant electioneering to nominate a corporately-owned Oligarch, who does not represent the people.

This is about stopping the internal usurping of my party by lobbyists for the ruling elite.

This is about shining a bright light into the dark corners of a party that takes millions from those who exploit our citizens and then pretends to fight against those very entities.

This is about finally realizing that the lesser of two evils is still evil.

This is about fighting for something good and decent, before it is too late.

snowden

I cannot pretend to be innocent.

I have been complicit in their wily subterfuge.

I knew the system was rigged, but the “Democratic” Party are masters of marketing.

They knew that if they ran the right cult of personality, then well meaning fools like myself would fall in line smiling, feeling as if we had done some good by fighting against the Bush’s and Romney’s in the party of evil.

A good ol boy, who plays the sax and jogs to McDonald’s every morning?

“He’s got my vote!!”

A charismatic black man who promises hope and change and simultaneously placates my white guilt?

“It’s about time!!”

A female candidate to make me feel like I’m doing my part to overcome centuries of oppression aimed at women and an opportunity to elect someone my daughter can look up to?

This is the part in the movie where you hear the sound of the needle clumsily falling off the record.

I know about Hillary Clinton.

I know what she did and I know what she stands for.

I already said no to her in 2008 and what I have learned about her since, means that I could never, in good conscience, vote for her.

Sorry, I already bailed out the big banks.

I certainly won’t be supporting their candidate.

cantvote

The Democratic Party has marginalized the poor and middle-class; the very foundation that once made them great.

They do not stand for the people, any more than Republicans do.

It is all one gigantic bi-partisan puppet show, where corporations pull the strings of party-aligned marionettes, in an off Broadway production designed to distract and amuse the American voter.

In the post Citizen’s United America, it is no longer about party representation.

It is about who signs your checks.

When a genocidal, sociopathic, racist, recently homophobic, Goldman Sach’s sponsored, TPP lobbying, wire-tapping,  arms-trading, child-rapist defending, Henry Kissinger protege is now the face of my party…

Then I guess I’m at the wrong party.

I voted for Bill Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry and Barack Obama…

But I will not, under any circumstance, vote for Hillary Clinton.

And I am as much of a feminist as anyone you will ever meet.

If Bernie Sanders does not create a new party, then I will be voting for Jill Stein and that is based on policy, NOT genitalia.

My fear and loathing for Hillary Clinton is based on her past transgressions and the absolute danger that I know she will be to world peace should she be allowed to steal this “election”.

My fear and loathing for Hillary Clinton is based on the fact that I know where her money comes from and to hand over the keys to the kingdom to her is the same as handing them over to the multi-national corporations themselves.

guccifer

“If you don’t vote for Clinton then we will have President Trump!!”

Yeah, yeah, I thought about this.

Better to bear down and tough it out with Trump and get another shot at a Progressive in four years, then to allow Clinton to ruin 2020 also (some may not realize that the President runs unopposed by their own party if running for a second term, so a Clinton presidency would ruin any chance for a Progressive Democrat to run in 2020).

As bad as Trump is, he would just spin his wheels for four years.

Both Republicans and Democrats would vote down everything he tried to do.

The insiders hate him.

He has no government experience.

He can’t navigate it.

He would just be a four-year Jon Stewart punchline.

Trump is not the answer, but four years of his buffoonery is infinitely better than losing two elections to Clinton and her war machine.

Trump only talks about doing awful things.

Clinton has a proven track record of actually doing them.

hillarywar

I will give my party one final chance to keep me.

I will load up my car and drive to Philadelphia.

I will support Senator Bernie Sanders for the Democratic nomination.

I will be a tiny dot in a sea of people who want to give their former party one final chance to save itself.

And if the party does not nominate Senator Sanders and right these awful wrongs perpetrated on the American people by this sham of an election, then we will form a new party from the ashes of the Democrats.

I will give the Democratic Party one last chance to keep me, because I want to believe that we can rebuild this from the inside.

I want to believe that all of this new blood that Senator Sanders brought into my old party will cleanse it of corruption and keep it going strong for another fifty years.

I want to believe that there are enough good people left in the party to wrestle it away from the corporate virus that has caused it to rot from the inside out.

I want to believe we can save the Democratic Party…

But if we can’t, we will walk away..

And build something new and inspiring.

Sharpen Your Pitchforks America – This Could Get Ugly

heykids

I stayed in bed as long as I could this morning.

Usually I spring up at 7:00, but today I was determined to stay horizontal until life forced me up.

I held Carrie and tried not to think about California.

I knew that today was going to be a long day.

I knew that the corporate media was going to announce that Hillary Clinton had won the Democratic nomination, in an attempt to convince the American people to stay home on this final primary election day.

I knew it two weeks ago when Chris Mathews sat with an arrogant smirk and taunted Sanders’ campaign manager, Jeff Weaver, by asking what would happen to voter turnout if the TV networks prematurely announced that Hillary Clinton had won the Democratic nomination?

So I stayed in bed holding my girlfriend.

I didn’t want to deal with it.

Today was supposed to be a day filled with joy, as the good people of California stood up in mass against the corporate fascism of Hillary Clinton.

Today was supposed to be the latest in a series of YUGE steps Americans took towards restoring our country to a Democracy.

Glancing at my phone to check the time, I turned back over and mumbled

“Somethings wrong. I have 4500 messages.”

flag2

The messages were all pretty much the same…

“The media is saying Hillary Clinton won before voting has even begun!!! What do we do?!!”

First of all, let me state that I am just a normal guy.

I am not an insider by any stretch.

There is really nothing special to qualify me as a person who can answer this question.

My college professors always told me that it was important that I establish my expertise at the beginning of every paper, but I’d rather be open and honest with my readers.

I’m just a normal guy.

A little over a year ago, I told my girlfriend and my children that the next 18 months of my life would be dedicated to doing “everything I can to get Bernie Sanders elected.”

And that is exactly what I have done.

I’ve canvassed all over the Midwest, phonebanked from Iowa to California, donated every dime that I could and have created a ton of content for social media outlets, everything from stop-motion animation, all the way to original music production and a plethora of other mediums (this article for example).

My entire life has been dedicated to this movement.

This does not make me special.

I am one of millions.

I am a cog in a powerful and beautiful machine.

But I am flattered that for whatever reason, people look to me for answers.

I invest about 4-8 hours a day to reading, in hopes that I can actually give some small amount of wisdom to the conundrums that arise from being on a team that is literally in direct opposition to the establishment.

So I’m sitting here writing, not because I have the answers, but because I am searching for them.

“The media is saying Hillary Clinton won before voting has even begun!!! What do we do?!!”

fraud

First off, if you are one of those who thinks that Hillary Clinton actually has more support than Bernie Sanders, then just stop reading now.

If you are insistent on burying your head deep in the sand then I cannot help you.

This article (like ALL my articles) is for those who are fed up with living in a Republic controlled by corporations.

It’s a funny thing that Bernie Sanders has been overflowing arenas several times daily for a solid year, while Clinton can’t fill a high-school gymnasium and yet there are people who actually believe that she has more votes than Sanders.

She does not.

There are several different types of electioneering and voter suppression happening on the “Democratic” side of the aisle concurrently and NONE of it is being reported by the corporate media.

As long as Comcast, NewsCorp and Time Warner are donating millions to the Clinton campaign, I wouldn’t be expecting anything resembling  journalism to be coming out of your television anytime soon.

These multinational corporations want to protect their assets.

They do not pay taxes and they aren’t about to start.

Sanders will tax them, whereas Hillary will continue to allow them to slip through loopholes and store their money in offshore accounts.

Clinton is a great investment if you are a billionaire.

She talks and talks about how she is going to overturn Citizens United, while taking millions from corporations.

Bernie Sanders represents the people.

Hillary Clinton represents the corporations.

So the first part of the answer to the question of…

“The media is saying Hillary Clinton won before voting has even begun!!! What do we do?!!”

Is to contact your local cable provider and disconnect your service.

I know Game of Thrones is on, but that’s what you have to do.

No one ever said revolution would be easy.

newworldorder

In addition to the corporate media brainwashing of the masses, we have also had more blatant issues of voter suppression and electioneering.

Clinton has a hard time rigging the caucuses, due to their transparency, but not for lack of effort.

In Iowa she had paid staff dress up in red uniforms and pretend they were Sanders volunteers to give misinformation to caucus goers.

In one incident, where there were thousands of Sanders supporters in a precinct, the Clinton organizer told them that the building had exceeded fire safety capacity and that they needed to go outside.

Once outside, the doors were locked and the Hillary caucus-goers, who were privy to the trickery and told to stay inside, then voted, giving Clinton the precinct “victory”.

There are videos of Clinton campaign staff telling volunteers to break election laws and if caught “ask forgiveness, instead of permission”.

There was more election fraud caught in Illinois, but again this was not reported by corporate media, nor was it corrected.

More allegations in Massachusetts and Kentucky went unreported by corporate media.

In Arizona, there was massive voter suppression, again favoring Hillary Clinton.

The Clinton camp could not be reached for comment on any of these attacks on democracy.

Across the country, normally accurate, exit polling showed numbers not matching up, always in Clinton’s favor.

The “news” outlet’s smoking gun?

They decide to cancel exit polling for the remaining primaries.

In New York, Sanders’ voters were purged and denied their right to vote.

In California, 18 million new No Party Preference voters registered in the weeks leading up to June 7, but on voting day, 12 million of them were not counted, and Clinton somehow won the state even though exit polls showed a 17 point disparity versus how the actual votes were counted.

I am not even speaking of the audacity of closed primaries, which disenfranchised millions of Sanders voters legally.

4.4 million Sanders’ voters were turned away in Arizona and New York combined, not to mention tens of millions more legally disenfranchised nationally.

Obvious fraud in Nevada  was reported and recorded, yet corporate media was absent until they realized that the story wasn’t going away, so they spun it into a fairy tale about how Sanders’ supporters were violent.

It is clear to anyone paying attention that Sanders has millions more supporters than does Clinton.

After a solid year of seeing Sanders speaking to overflow stadiums and Clinton speaking to empty high-school gymnasiums (the average Clinton crowd is 348 people), the question needs to be answered…

Where are all the Hillary Clinton voters?

newworldorder2

“So the election is rigged.

We already knew that.

What can we do?”

What we can do is Bern the “Democratic” party to the ground.

Instructions from the top are coming.

What you must NOT do, at any cost, is vote for Hillary Clinton.

Trump will increase the severity of his rhetoric going forward and this will cause the weak-minded to say

“I don’t like Hillary, but I will vote for her in order to keep Hitler II out of office.”

Don’t allow yourself to be duped by this game.

A vote for Clinton, after she has rigged our election process, is a vote for fascism.

We will deal with Trump in November.

Had Sanders lost in a fair election he would have endorsed Clinton and she would have defeated Trump, but there is no chance of that happening at this point.

Clinton is trailing Trump in the polls and that will only get worse as the reluctant GOP will finally endorse Trump and millions of voters will support Trump, simply because he is not Hillary Clinton.

If you are registered as a Democrat STAY registered Democrat until Sanders has his say at the convention.

Should the Super-delegates commit career suicide and nominate Clinton, Sanders will accept Jill Stein’s invitation to run on The Green Party ticket and the race to get The Green Party on the ballot in all 50 states will begin (currently The Green Party is on the ballot in 20 states, but those states make up more than the 270 electoral votes required to win the general election).

Undoubtedly, Clinton will try to rig the election in November.

We have until then to implement safeguards against this.

We must oppose her at every front.

She is a dictator that will take away many of our freedoms if she is able to rise to power.

This is a woman who has a history of supporting spying on American citizens.

If she is able to gain control of the United States Military, millions more will die at her hands.

We must stop her.

The why’s are present.

The how will present itself.

Sharpen your pitchforks, Americans.

This could get ugly.

Hillary Clinton Has a Gun to My Head

hillarygun

Recently Robert Reich started saying some version of

“I know Hillary Clinton is awful, but you should vote for her, because she is better than Donald Trump.”

I am paraphrasing somewhat, but over and over again this is what people are told.

“Vote for Clinton or it’s YOUR FAULT when we get Trump.”

Not a ringing endorsement for Hillary Clinton.

It’s like saying

“You should die of a heart attack to avoid getting cancer.”

But hey, I get it.

In 2004, I voted for John Kerry based solely on the fact that he was NOT George Bush.

I was not excited about Kerry.

I was excited about stopping Bush.

I voted for John and he lost.

Perhaps those of us who weren’t excited about Kerry and wanted to stop Bush, should have just voted for The Green Party candidate, David Cobb, instead of someone who we knew would not make a good President.

Perhaps we should have taken 2004 as an opportunity to send The Democratic Party a message and tell it that we were tired of the uninspired and/or corrupt candidates they kept shoving down our throats.

Perhaps if we had taken a stand in 2004, The Democratic Party would not have dwindled into it’s current sorry state.

One party would have been forced to evolve and America would also have gained a legitimate third-party to represent the will of those Americans who aren’t multi-millionaires.

Now, all these years later, I am told that I should repeat my past mistakes, be a good citizen and vote for Hillary Clinton, because she is less evil than Donald Trump.

It’s worth considering.

Of course, I would vote for Hillary Clinton, if I truly thought that was best for our country.

After all, I have kids and other family that I am sworn to protect.

We all want what is best for the one’s we love.

We are all patriots in our own way.

prisondent

Donald Trump is not fit to be President by any stretch of the imagination.

He is an indictment on a party that did such an amazing job selling fear and racism to it’s members, that it produced a candidate that embodied the very ugliness the party had become synonymous with.

Donald Trump’s rise holds a giant mirror up to the Republican party and shows them what an incredible farce they have become.

Donald Trump has ZERO political experience.

Comparing Trump vs Clinton on experience is laughable.

Clinton was a Senator and Secretary of State, while Trump was on reality TV.

One knows politics and one does not.

Trump’s lack of experience eliminates him from contention in the mind of any intelligent person.

You simply cannot be trusted with the most powerful military in our planet’s history, if you have not proven yourself as trustworthy.

But that’s the problem.

I just don’t trust Hillary either.

trumprip

Fans of Trump will often pull off their hood and point to the fact that Trump is a successful businessman and therefore would run the country like a business.

Anyone who says this displays their complete lack of knowledge about this tiny-handed fool and his disastrous business record.

Donald Trump is NOT a successful businessman.

He is the heir to a successful businessman.

Trump’s father left him a huge inheritance, which he has gradually squandered.

In fact, if Trump had left his father’s money alone and simply put it into a low-risk mutual fund, Donald Trump would be worth $8,000,000,000 today, but The Donald is not worth even half that.

He is worth $3,200,000,000.

Nearly everyone reading this article could have built a larger fortune than Donald Trump if they had inherited the money he did.

Trump’s companies have filed bankruptcy (paid for by the American tax-payer) FOUR TIMES!!!

There is NOTHING successful about this half-man.

He is a walking indictment of America’s third-rate education system.

If you allow corporate-media to “educate” the masses, then you get Donald Trump, the embodiment of white-male entitlement.

A carnival barker with a checkbook.

Everything that is wrong with America all rolled into one orange turd of a man.

If he were to run the country the way he runs his businesses, then America would be bankrupt four times over.

Clinton on the other hand has amassed a vast fortune of $300,000,000 from mostly humble beginnings.

If we are talking about success in business, Clinton is a far better business person than Donald Trump.

So why am I still Not With Her?

moredeadpeople

Given the “choice” between Clinton and Trump, I concede the point that Clinton followers spew ad nauseum, that yes, as a politician, Clinton is better than Trump.

High praise indeed.

It’s like saying that it is better to drown than to die in a fire.

I, for one, am suspicious of any candidate whose main selling point is that they are superior to Donald Trump.

My dog would be a better President than Donald Trump (also much cuter and has better hair).

I have stepped in things that would be a better President than Donald Trump.

Yet when pressed for WHY the Hillary Clinton supporter is casting their sacred vote her way, they do not speak of policy.

They toss out vague comments such as “She’s experienced,” and remind us for the ten millionth time that “If we don’t vote for her, then we will be to blame for President Trump.”

So I am supposed to be okay with the “choice” between a racist ass-hat and a genocidal sociopath?

Sorry. Not Sorry.

I’m just not AT ALL okay with that.

I thought we made it abundantly clear in 2008 that we did not want Hillary Clinton.

Was there some confusion?

Did the American people stutter?

toheel

In the eight years since the Democratic voters spoke out against Hillary Clinton, the populous has become increasingly Progressive and informed.

The American people have been very clear.

They have come out by the millions to support Bernie Sanders, despite a corporate media blackout that tried to trick the American people into believing that Sanders’ was not a serious contender.

The Clinton voter, a willing participant in a feel-good charade, is victim to falsified numbers that Hillary herself uses to mislead her constituents.

Clinton claims that 3,000,000 more people voted for her than did Senator Sanders.

But any informed person knows that when you count those who caucused for Sanders that the two have roughly the same number of voters.

When you add in those who were not allowed to vote due to MASSIVE voter suppression and disenfranchisement on the part of the “Democratic” National Committee, you see clearly that Sanders has several million more supporters than does Clinton.

If we are serious about keeping Idiot Trump out of The White House, it is time we stop accepting the corporate media propaganda regarding Clinton and go with the candidate who can actually defeat Lil Man Drumpf.

Because Independent and No Party Preference voters will be allowed to vote in November, Sanders is the logical candidate to take down Trump.

The idea that Clinton has more support in the general election is mass delusion.

Clinton polls even with Trump while Sanders wins by an epic landslide of 15 points!!

Clinton loses to Trump in Georgia and Michigan, whereas Sanders beats him in both states.

Clinton is losing to Trump in three swing states already and that is not going to get better for her, as reluctant Republicans WILL support Trump when their “option” is Clinton.

Are establishment Democrats so devoted to the delusion that Clinton can overcome her ever slipping popularity, that they would be willing to hand our nation over to Trump, instead of supporting the stronger candidate in Senator Sanders?

Will they choose the anti-Democratic Super-delegates to APPOINT a candidate that we do NOT support and then tell us that if we do not vote for her then we are the ones to blame for Donald Trump?

That is ludicrous reasoning.

That is the same as Walmart coming into a small town, destroying all the mom and pop businesses and then expecting us to willfully buy their products.

Sorry.

I don’t shop at Walmart.

And eliminating my options will not change that.

All it will do is necessitate the creation of new options.

Expecting us to vote for Hillary Clinton when we were repeatedly clear that we do not support her is the same as Monsanto destroying the family farm and then blaming us for rejecting their GMOs.

We don’t want your fake food and we won’t support your corrupt, genocidal, fascist, corporate candidate.

Eliminating our choices will not change that.

We will create new choices, before we eat plastic, before we accept plastic, before we VOTE plastic.

We tried to use our collective voice, but your party had such a stranglehold on the voting process that you would not let us.

Sanders beats Trump in November.

Clinton does not.

We understand the plan is to nominate Clinton and then use Trump’s rhetoric to scare us into voting for her.

But we have learned where “the lesser of two evils” will get us.

Supporting evil leads to more evil.

Supporting evil is STILL supporting evil.

If you are going to put the gun of Donald Trump to our heads, then you are just going to have to shoot us.

You cannot shoot enough of us to anoint your chosen one.

We will not play this game.

We WILL reclaim our Democracy.

jillarrested

So Robert Reich and other people whom we respect will continue to remind us that it is better to hold our noses and vote for Clinton, than to allow Trump into The White House.

They will say that it is better to hand over our collective wallets, then to be shot.

But what if that wallet has the money for my medication in it?

So by giving up, all I do is prolong the inevitable.

Wouldn’t it be better to take a stand and fight for what is right, than to be insulted by a “choice” between a narcissistic baboon and a power-hungry warmonger?

Should I choose a blowhard who will probably get us into war or a slick and shifty politician who says that she will “obliterate Iran” and create a no-fly zone over Syria (an action which Vladimir Putin has said that he considers a declaration of war).

Should I choose a man who makes racist comments or a woman who continually supports racist policies?

Should I choose an offensive neanderthal who makes fun of the handicapped or a genocidal maniac who said that “it’s time for the United States to start thinking of Iraq as a business opportunity.“?

The argument for Clinton being a superior option to Trump only works on low-information voters and thanks to Bernie Sanders lighting a fire, America is suddenly filled with informed citizens who understand that Trump will simply provide fuel for late night comedians for the next four years, whereas Clinton would actually get us into real trouble.

For every disgusting Donald Trump quote you can throw out, we can match it with a Hillary Clinton atrocity or scandal.

So when you put the Trump-gun to my head and tell me to vote for genocide, I say “Hell no!!”

Trump is not acceptable.

Hillary is not acceptable.

Voting for evil is not acceptable.

notwithher

As I’ve been voting for the lesser of two evils my entire life, I am partly responsible for every sadistic act committed by every candidate I have supported.

So now, after a good and virtuous man has been cast aside by The “Democratic” Party and their corporate media arms, I am supposed to swallow hard and fill in that little bubble to support the very ones who rigged the game?

I cannot and will not.

If Hillary Clinton and her supporters want to hold the gun of Donald Trump to my head, then I think perhaps this is the year that I fight for my life.

Give me liberty or give me political death.

Don’t talk to me about Supreme Court judges.

Clinton would nominate corporate judges.

She talks about overturning Citizen’s United, while simultaneously taking money from every lobbyist with a checkbook.

Sorry. Not fooled.

To put it simply, I signed up for revolution and revolution is what I am going to get.

I do not know how it will happen.

But it WILL happen.

Perhaps Clinton will be indicted.

Perhaps the corrupt Super-delegates will see a million people outside of the convention in Philadelphia and realize that these people are serious and the Super-delegates will support Senator Sanders to preserve their careers.

Perhaps Clinton will win the nomination and Sanders will run with Jill Stein on The Green Party ticket.

Maybe Sanders will follow in the footsteps of his hero, Eugene Debs and run as a write in candidate.

Maybe Sanders will lose the convention and drop out and millions of Sanders supporters will migrate to The Green Party in hopes of having a viable third party option in 2020 and we will spend the next four years overturning every seat in government so that there will be no obstruction for our Progressive Party President.

This is the year the American people take a united front against oligarchy and corporate controlled government.

We will vote our conscience and we will possibly lose the battle for The White House in 2016, but we will make progress towards a greater goal.

And ten to twenty years from now Americans will look back and say

“Wow. That was a mess, but America is better for it.”

You can keep Clinton.

You can keep Trump.

I will not be holding my nose in the voting booth this time.

I’ll vote my conscience.

I will make a moral choice.

Not just a political one.

And don’t you dare blame me for Trump.

Millions of good people tried to warn you.

An Open Letter to Hillary Clinton and The Democratic National Committee

fascism0CNN keeps showing poor Roberta Gustave Lange crying about how Bernie Sanders supporters have been so mean to her.

She claims that we are threatening violence against her.

Hmmm…

Violence against corrupt government officials..

That’s an interesting proposal.

I second it.

‘All those in favor say “Aye” All those opposed say “Nay” BANG BANG (that’s a gavel, not a gun) meeting adjourned!!’

But this is not The French Revolution and violence is not the answer.

To quote the great H.G. Wells…

“The first man to raise a fist is the one who has run out of ideas.”

Sanders supporters are peaceful and brilliant people and we are far from being “out of ideas”.

fascism4

But back to dear Roberta…

The way she ran off the stage, scared for her life, with her hired Nazi goons to protect her, may foreshadow things to come.

The choice is entirely up to you, my corrupt, corporate Democrat friends.

The fact is that our government officials SHOULD fear us.

If you commit an act of fascism against the American people, you SHOULD run for your life.

Without the threat of extreme action, nothing stops YOU from employing extreme fascism.

fascism

I was proud of the Sanders supporters for showing restraint in Nevada, but Hillary Clinton and the DNC, you should not count on prospering from your treasonous actions.

The fact that you use the corporate arm of the media to spread lies about us, when not one arrest was made at the convention, while simultaneously failing to mention the REAL issue, that you blatantly rigged an American election, tells me that you take us seriously and are afraid of us.

That is good.

You should be.

But instead of admitting wrongdoing, you engage in victim-blaming at the highest level.

The issue that your corrupt, corporate media should be covering is WHY you had to run off that stage, fleeing from American voters who had done nothing wrong, unless you count being naive enough to expect Democracy at a DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION(!!!!) as wrongdoing.

Let’s not talk about the fact that you voted on the rules at 9:30 AM and only told the Hillary supporters that the time had been changed (the rule-making session is listed at 10:00 AM on the schedule).

Let’s not talk about the fact that you scheduled the convention to coincide with Nevada colleges having their graduations, knowing that many Sanders supporters are college students and would be unable to attend the convention or else forego their graduation ceremony.

And let’s completely fail to mention the stories of male Clinton supporters attacking female Sanders’ supporters and attacks on Sanders’ campaign centers.

Let’s save all of this discussion for another time.

Instead, let’s talk about YOU and YOUR GOALS.

fascism3

What will you do to us “Democratic” party?

How far are you willing to go to protect your corporate interests?

Your propaganda has failed on all but the most feeble-minded.

We have exposed you for what you are, so now you have to make a choice.

Do you apologize or do you suffer the consequences?

The apology can only come in one form.

You must force Clinton to step down as well as her lackey, Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

You must apologize to Bernie Sanders by throwing ALL of your support behind him as he goes forward in his quest to defeat Donald Trump and save your party.

Your reward for making the moral choice is that your party survives and thrives under an administration made up of the people, by the people, for the people.

The downside is that your elite ruling class will have to actually pay their taxes and either choice you make will result in ALL corrupt Democrats being voted out of office over the next couple of years.

Should you fail to comply, maneuvers will be made to elect Senator Sanders through non-traditional means.

stein

We have NOT “run out of ideas”.

You have rigged our election and you have been exposed.

All of your corporate media spin is not working.

So what next?

Will you come to our homes and take us away in the night for opposing you?

Will our peaceful rebellion in Philadelphia be met with military force?

And how confident are you that the police and military will side with your cause, when they would have to strike down their own brethren to comply?

How far are you willing to go?

The American People know how far WE are willing to go.

police

There was no violence in Nevada and playing a clip ad nauseum of a man lifting up a chair then sitting it back down, after he thought better of it, may excite your brain-dead CNN viewers, but it does nothing to slow our cause.

We are further polarized by your Gestapo tactics.

You are using the corporate media to demonize American voters so that you have an excuse to use violence against us in Philadelphia.

This will work against you and ultimately destroy you.

All will be filmed and sent directly to a million clouds simultaneously.

The revolution will not be televised.

But it will be streamed, tweeted and go viral faster than your corrupt, corporate media can spin it.

You have been exposed.

Your fascist tactics will only serve to hurt you.

You have a choice to make and you have limited time to make it.

Do the right thing or perish.

Tick-Tock, DNC.

Tick-Tock.

Donald Trump – The Lesser of Two Evils

nickleback

Today I had a home theater installation.

This is one of the many things I do to make ends meet.

Inevitably these jobs are in people’s homes who have a lot more money than I do.

As soon as I saw the address, I thought…

“This guy is probably some huge Republican.”

It caused me momentary hesitation as I was putting my Bernie buttons on.

Stupid, prejudiced thought, right?

A thought born from fear.

I have these a lot.

When I catch myself, I replace them with more constructive visions.

So I said out loud, what I always say when going to meet someone new…

“Let’s go make a friend.”

By this, I mean…

“Hey Mike. Center yourself. This is a fellow human being you are on your way to see. Pay attention to them. Actually listen to them. See their humanity. Make their day better.”

You know…be a decent human.

GOP 2016 Trump

I arrived and started to install the speakers, all the while asking him what he thought of this sound and that sound.

Finally he looked at my Bernie buttons and said

“You really think Sanders has a chance?”

I replied…

“We have a plan. I believe Sanders will be the Democratic nominee. If the DNC screws him over, then there is an invitation for him to join The Green Party. Do you hate Bernie Sanders?”

As the words stumbled out, I was surprised that I said “Hate.”

I was projecting.

What I usually say is..

“What are your thoughts on Senator Sanders?”

He said “I don’t HATE him. I hate Hillary.”

Ah!! A mutual dislike of Hillary Clinton!! We had a point of agreement!!

For the next hour, we were in rapid fire mode, speaking about Haiti, Honduras, Iraq, Hillary’s plans to “obliterate Iran” and how dangerous her No Fly Zone in Syria would be.

This guy loved Trump, who I violently oppose, yet we found common ground.

Sanders and Trump supporters may disagree on EVERYTHING, but the one thing they all agree on is that Hillary Clinton is bad for America.

trumpsanders2

Once rapport was strong, I told him that I liked that Trump had taken a hammer to the corrupt Republican party, but that I couldn’t support him due to hateful comments that he had made about the handicapped, women and minorities.

I told him that I was starkly opposed to Trump’s idea of building a wall on the border of Mexico and thought that a better solution would be to have fair trade agreements to assist their economy and that people from all over the world should have the opportunity to come to America and prove that they can be an asset to our country.

“After all” I said “That is the foundation of America, a safe harbor for immigrants.”

He said that he did not take any of Trump’s bigoted comments seriously and shared with me that he had concerns with Sanders’ ability to pay for his programs.

As we tested the speakers with Don’t You Forget About Me from Simple Minds, I spoke with him about Glass-Steagall and how top economists Robert Reich and Asher Edelman endorse Bernie Sanders’ economic plan.

I also explained Velocity of Money and he said that he had never thought about it that way.

He confessed that he really liked Sanders, now that he understood his economic plan a little better.

He also told me that he knows that Trump will lose if Sanders is the nominee and that every Trump supporter he knows is hoping Clinton gets the nomination, because that is the only way that Trump can win.

He was confused about why the Democrats were trying to fix the system to run a candidate who would likely lose.

I reminded him that Clinton was the only hope they had of keeping their oligarchical billionaire’s club alive.

I reminded him that Sanders would tax them and Trump doesn’t need their money.

But I DID need HIS money.

So I got paid and left.

johnbender

On my way home, a car came up beside me at a stop light, honked and motioned for me to roll down my window.

An elderly man pointed to his Bernie Sanders hat and said…

“It’s more than an election. It’s a movement!!”

This kind of thing happens to me several times per day (I live in a major city and have 19 Bernie stickers on my car).

As I continued driving I wondered about the differences between the Bernie-hat guy and the Trump-guy.

How could Donald Trump, a complete bigot and Bernie Sanders, a modern day FDR, both attract such fervent support and admiration?

How could two completely opposite candidates inspire such tremendous excitement and loyalty?

Sanders and Trump disagree on nearly everything.

But they agree on two things.

  1. We have to get money out of politics and
  2. Hillary Clinton is the epitome of the problem.

trumpsandersstarwars

I have always been fascinated at how things that are opposite are also similar.

For example, atheists are often so assured that they know the truth, that they sometimes bear a striking similarity to the religious zealots they rail against.

(There went half my subscribers).

Just as extreme right wing American Christians often have much in common with the Islamic terrorists they are so afraid of.

(Come back atheists!! I’m an equal opportunity offender!!)

As opposites go, you cannot be more different than Sanders vs Trump.

On the surface it is a Shakespearean Good vs Evil epic tale.

Sanders stands for love, while Trump is the candidate of hate.

Sanders wants to help those in need, while Trump wants to trample them.

Trump crushed the decrepit GOP.

Sanders exposed the corrupt DNC.

They both say they can save America.

Sanders’ by taxing the rich.

Trump by deporting the poor.

But as much as I dislike Trump for all his bigotry and arrogance, I realize he is not the true enemy.

trumpsanders

The enemy of Democracy and progress is Hillary Clinton, who excites no one and stands for nothing.

Her supporters are not passionate or informed.

They are excited by her gender, but not her policies.

They do not even know her policies.

No one does.

They change based on political winds.

While Sanders and Trump speak to overflow audiences, Clinton speaks to Goldman Sachs billionaires and empty high school gymnasiums.

Ask any of her supporters what they like about her and they will say…

  1. It’s her time
  2. She’s a woman
  3. I liked Bill
  4. She’s experienced

In other words, they know NOTHING about her.

If they did they would understand why she is better suited to a prison cell than to the oval office.

Ask them to elaborate on her experience and they cannot.

Ask them to name one thing she has accomplished and they cannot.

Mainly because she has never accomplished one thing of merit in all her years in government.

She graduated law school, which is admirable.

She ascended on her husband’s coattails into high positions in politics, but on her own has accomplished NOTHING.

Unless you consider murdering innocent foreign people an accomplishment.

If you do then Hillary has hundreds of thousands of accomplishments.

iraq

If Trump becomes President, our country will stagnate.

Republicans and Democrats will unite to fight him and NOTHING will get done.

If Clinton becomes President, the wealthy will continue to siphon all the money and store it in their offshore accounts and the middle-class will completely disappear.

What can be gained by supporting a candidate who is in bed with the very banks who destroyed our economy already?

What was in those Wall Street transcripts?

She has collected $153,000,000 for these amazing “speeches” and she promised to release them when everyone else released their Wall Street Transcripts, but no one else gave any Wall Street speeches, so why is she dragging her feet?

Then she moved to “I will release my Wall Street transcripts when Sanders releases his taxes.”

Sanders released his taxes the following day, but still no transcripts.

Then she moved to “I will release my Wall Street transcripts when Trump releases his taxes.”

What is she hiding?!?!

What kind of “leader” says “I’ll do it after they do it.”?

If you support Hillary Clinton in spite of her hiding her agenda from you, then I ask you why?

It’s YOUR right to know what she is promising these huge banks.

It is YOUR tax dollars that bailed them out when they ripped off the American people.

You have a right to know, but she lies and refuses to release this pertinent information.

How can you defend that?

How can you support that?

How can you vote for that?

She will never release the transcripts, because there ARE NO TRANSCRIPTS!!

Hillary Clinton never gave any speeches.

The outrageous speaking fees are excuses for the banks to BUY her favors.

What do you suppose the banks want in return for their hundred million dollar investment?

Wake up!!!

Think about it!!!

Hillary Clinton is lying to the American people and yet there are those who will make excuses for this.

You shouldn’t be supporting her.

You should be angry!!

If Clinton is elected, our country will fall into deeper poverty and Clinton will continue her pattern of attacking anywhere there’s a profit.

Her “experience” shows a repeated pattern of bombing people of color if there is money to be made from it.

Remember what she said about Iraq?

Hillary_Iraq_A_Business_Opportunity_XTrump (1)So

The real war that America is facing is not Trump vs Clinton.

If it comes to that, recent polling indicates that Trump will defeat Clinton.

The real war is The American People vs The Wealthy Elite.

Hillary Clinton is their representative and she must be stopped.

I am believing that the Super-delegates will realize that supporting Sanders is wiser than losing the election entirely.

But if they choose not to listen to the people, we MUST drop the hammer hard on them in November.

Some of us will vote for Jill Stein.

Some of us will write in Bernie Sanders.

And yes, some will even vote for Donald Trump, just because they know that he is the lesser of two evils when compared with Hillary Rodham Clinton.

But under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will Hillary Clinton become the leader of this great country.

We will all work together to make sure that never happens.

Independent, Democrat, Republican…

One People..

United against her fascism.

It’s All Bernie Sanders’ Fault!!

syria

The American political system has discouraged me for as long as I can remember.

The fact that we do not live in a Democracy is not news to me.

I was the kid with the nose ring, listening to Megadeth, Rage Against the Machine and NWA while everyone I knew was talking about how cool Bill Clinton was because he ate at McDonald’s and played the sax.

Now I’m the jerk who goes up to liberals, points to their Whole Foods bag and says

“Did you know that by shopping at Whole Foods you support a right wing agenda?”

I’m so over-informed that I would be regarded as crazy, if I didn’t know it was better to just keep my mouth shut in most cases.

My girlfriends would think I was awesome during the first few months, but gradually that would melt away and I would find myself cleaning up after the dogs with a Walmart bag.

“Where the hell did this Walmart bag come from?!” I’d say, genuinely confused.

Then a guilt laden confession would spew fourth, in which I found out that my girlfriend was never really a vegetarian and had actually been stopping at Chic Filet after work.

And there was also that time she went to Hobby Lobby.

And she occasionally drank Russian vodka, because it was cheaper.

russian

I never wanted to make anyone feel bad.

I just didn’t want to contribute to something I didn’t believe in.

I didn’t want to make the world a worse place.

I can’t count the number of times we would be having a party and my liberal friends would ask

“Where is the recycling bin?”

And I would have to explain to them that the process of recycling was actually more damaging to the environment, in many cases, due to the trucks that pick up the recycling burning so many fossil fuels and the chemicals they use to break down the items were highly toxic, etc…

I watched their eyes glaze over.

They didn’t want to know this.

They just wanted to feel like they were a good person.

And here I was ruining that for them…

So I just started putting out a recycling bin at parties.

Now everyone can drink their micro-brew, smoke their American Heritage cigarettes and feel like a good liberal.

And that’s what’s important, right?

Portrait of young man with tattoos smoking cigarette

So what does any of this have to do with being “discouraged with the American political system”?

It’s all Bernie Sanders’ fault!

Before Bernie, I had given up on politicians.

I marched against gun violence, knowing completely that our march would DO NOTHING to stop gun violence.

I marched for immigration reform, knowing that nothing would come of it.

I marched against unjust war and the blood of the innocents kept right on flowing.

I marched for women’s reproductive rights and LBGT+ rights, year after year after year…

And surprise… gradually people’s minds changed.

I tried to remind myself that some things could be affected incrementally.

It was hard, but it was worth it.

My roommate would always say

“The arc of history is long, but it bends towards justice.”

And when I looked at the arc of history, I tried to believe that this was true.

Raise awareness…change minds…change policy.

I was political, but hated politicians.

They were obstacles to be overcome or occasionally they were pawns we could move to our ends, but rarely were they on our side.

They were only on their own side.

terrorists3

I knew about Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Keith Ellison and a few others.

From time to time I would check in on them when I needed to be reminded that there were people in government fighting for our citizens.

I voted for Barack Obama and was excited that our country finally had a person of color in The White House.

I had intended to vote for Hillary Clinton so that women would finally be represented in our nation’s highest office.

I didn’t really think these people would make much of a difference in government, but the sociological ramifications were incredibly important to me.

I was a Democrat.

I was one of the good guys.

I voted for the black guy.

I was just like the people at my parties, throwing their PBR cans into the recycling bin.

I was delusional…

And I was enjoying my delusions.

cu

I really have no one to blame but myself.

I did sign a petition asking Bernie Sanders to run for President.

I didn’t think he would actually do it.

I was so naive back then.

When Bernie said he was running I thought it would be exciting, but I was still going to be a good liberal and probably vote for the woman.

I thought Bernie would run and Hillary would run and loyal Democrats like me would have a tough choice to make, just like we did in 2008.

It was clear from the beginning that Sanders was a strong candidate.

He had passed more legislation.

He was a master at roll call amendments.

He was the king of veteran’s bills.

But Hillary had been my hero for a long time, due to the fact that she took on the insurance companies and tried to get universal healthcare passed.

Hillary was also amazing.

She was for LBGT+ rights.

She was pro-choice.

She was obviously pro-universal healthcare (that changed after the insurance companies donated millions of dollars to her campaign).

Democrats were awesome and I was one of them!!

I was blissfully ignorant, just trying to make up my mind which amazing Democrat to vote for when my friend sent me a text.

hillarygayshirt

“I notice you post a lot of pro-Hillary stuff. As an ally, how do you feel about the idea that Hillary only shifted her stance on gay rights, now that it is political suicide for her not to?”

I was so ignorant.

I replied

“Hasn’t she always been for gay rights?”

My friend started sending me links and videos.

After about 20 minutes, my head was swimming.

“How was this possible?!”

Hillary sounded like a Republican.

And it wasn’t just recent comments she had made before The Senate.

She had toured the country in support of DOMA.

How did I not know this?

I listened to NPR.

I took reusable bags with me to the grocery.

I was a hardcore liberal.

How did I not know this?!?!

Finally, I reconciled that, maybe she was late to the party, but at least she finally came.

She was still a woman and she was still a Democrat.

It’s not as if Bernie Sanders was any better, I reasoned, so I looked it up.

Oh…Bernie Sanders had always been for gay rights it seemed.

Bernie Sanders had opposed DOMA.

He declared a National Gay and Lesbian Day as Mayor of Burlington, VT in 1983.

He faced a lot of backlash for it.

He risked losing the reelection over his unpopular stance.

1983 was NOT a good time to be gay in America.

Reagan was laughing about AIDS and Harvey Milk had been murdered just a few years earlier.

No one was standing up for gay rights, but Bernie Sanders was.

Still, it was one issue, and Clinton was on board now.

Other things had to be weighed, before I made up my mind on who to vote for.

berniegay

I continued to research…

The Iraq War, a war in which I organized protests against, Sanders had voted against it.

Good.

I reasoned that Clinton did as well.

Upon researching I found that she not only supported the war, but encouraged others to do so.

Later I found out that Clinton actually SOLD HER VOTE to George Bush for $20,000,000,000!!

My head was swimming again.

Half a million innocent people died in that “war”!!!

Isis was created out of that “war”!!!

Iraq didn’t have WMDs!!

I knew they didn’t have WMDs!!

Bernie Sanders knew they didn’t have WMDs!!

Hillary Clinton HAD TO KNOW that Iraq was not a threat to our national security and yet she sold her vote and influenced others to do so.

I felt nauseous.

How had I been so vocal in my support of someone who had knowingly and willingly murdered innocent people?

As I continued to dig, I found out more than I ever wanted to know.

iraqichildren

So I have digressed…and now I have upset myself.

I can already hear the Hillary supporters getting angry and calling me a Republican (apparently anyone who disagrees with them is a Republican).

I get their hate-mail every single day.

What I don’t get is why they refuse to do the same research I did.

I’m not a Republican.

I had a Hillary Clinton bumper sticker on my Prius for God’s sake!!

This information is not top-secret.

It’s right there at everyone’s fingertips.

The fact of the matter is that Hillary Clinton has a history of genocide and plans for more!!

Read up on what Hillary did to Honduras and Haiti.

Read up on what Hillary did to Libya.

Educate yourself about her plans to “obliterate Iran“.

Read up on what Hillary plans to do to Syria.

Read up on Hillary Clinton’s ties to child labor in India.

Millions of innocent people have died.

If Clinton is President MILLIONS MORE WILL DIE!!

This is information that ANYONE can access, but there are millions of Americans who simply do not want to know what she has done or what she plans to do.

It is much easier for those people to insult other Democrats and call them Republicans rather than to educate themselves about why Clinton would be the second coming of George Bush.

Millions of lifetime Democrats are screaming from the rooftops, as our country is about to fall off a giant cliff and the Hillary voters are brazenly dismissing them.

If you are planning on supporting Clinton, ask yourself “what is in those Wall Street transcripts?”.

Why is she hiding them?

And why is she hiding classified emails from the FBI?

Look, I want a woman President too, but not this one.

We are all being duped by a Republican in disguise.

hillarytrump

When a Hillary supporter finds out that I refuse to support Clinton in the general election, should it come to that, they always say the same thing.

They don’t talk about her policies.

They don’t talk about her good points.

They always say “Vote for Hillary or we will have President Trump.”

This is a sad and pathetic selling point for their candidate.

It makes it seem as if Hillary doesn’t have any good points.

My reply is usually…

“I am less afraid of Trump committing genocide than I am someone who has a history of committing genocide.”

iraqichildren2

Trump is an idiot.

He is a buffoon.

He is not even a serious candidate.

He can’t run a marriage.

He can’t run a business.

He sure as hell cannot run a country.

Trump is the result of a party that has preached hate and fear for so long that some carnival barker can come in and make a mockery of their entire party and still win their nomination.

Donald Trump is a punchline to an offensive joke.

But I refuse to vote for a genocidal maniac just because your ignorance allows you to believe that Hillary Clinton is somehow less dangerous than Donald Trump.

Clinton has a proven track record of mass murder.

You CANNOT expect millions of people who know that to vote for her.

You are asking them to be partisan to genocide.

deadiraqikid

And stop pretending that refusing to vote for Hillary is the same thing as voting for Trump.

It’s not the same thing.

Both of them are awful and a “choice” between the two of them is no choice at all.

Should the DNC choose to push Hillary Clinton on a nation of people who have twice now (remember 2008) told them that they will not vote for her, then THEY are in effect supporting Donald Trump.

Telling someone who they MUST vote for is fascist and anti-democratic.

I won’t vote for Hillary Clinton and millions of Democrats feel the same way.

I will vote for Jill Stein if the DNC forces their corrupt, corporate candidate on me.

We may not win, but we will send a message to the DNC that we are tired of their corruption.

Perhaps next time they will choose to listen to the voice of The People.

How Bernie Sanders WILL Win the Democratic Nomination

BACKYARDS

At the time of this writing Hillary Clinton has amassed a 333 delegate lead over Senator Bernie Sanders.

The only conceivable scenario for Sanders to achieve the number of delegates required to gain the nomination is if the Super-delegates switch to Bernie Sanders.

This is extremely unlikely to happen, as Clinton has literally purchased the Super-delegates.

It is of course possible that if the FBI indicts Hillary on treason charges, as a result of the mass deletion of emails which contained, what is most likely weapons deals she made with terrorist leaders, then the Super-delegates would surely switch allegiances, to avoid going down with the ship.

This is possible, but not something you can bank on if you are a Sanders supporter.

But there IS a way that Sanders can gain the Democratic Party nomination and the good news is that YOU are an important part of this process.

bernie-6-conclusion-superJumbo

Bernie has known all along that the Democratic party was not going to allow him a fair primary, just because he traded in his Independent status for Democratic.

He is an outsider.

It is ridiculous for Sanders’ supporters to expect fair treatment by an organization that has already spent tens of millions of dollars grooming their candidate.

Hillary was absolutely right when she said that Bernie was not a Democrat.

This is not an indictment of Sanders, but rather an indictment on Democrats.

Sanders is what Democrats used to be, whereas Clinton is a reminder of what the party has become.

When Clinton said that Bernie was not a Democrat, she did not realize it, but she was actually paying him a compliment.

Sanders is in no way reflective of the sorry state of the Democratic party.

Sanders will either recreate the party in his image or he will crush it on his way to the Presidency.

The choice is up to him and his supporters.

Hillary Clinton literally has zero control over what happens to her party.

Sanders holds all the cards going forward.

BernieCrowd

If Sanders is unlikely to garner the 2,383 delegates needed to win the nomination, then why is he continuing to run as a Democrat, instead of switching back to Independent to run as a third party?

When we fully grasp what must happen for Sanders to eliminate Clinton and gain the Democratic nomination then we realize that now is the time for Sanders’ supporters to work harder than ever.

But it is also time for Senator Sanders to form a contingency plan and declare his Independent Party status.

This gives the DNC motivation to treat Sanders fairly at the contested convention and provides a fall-back option should Hillary seal the nomination

Sanders path to nomination is narrow, but entirely achievable.

And it is exciting to note that Sanders supporters can play a YUGE role in this process.

Not me, US, remember?

So how do we do this?

Like many of you, I was once a proud Hillary Clinton supporter.

When Bernie Sanders announced his candidacy, I became incredibly excited about his platforms.

He caused me to learn more about Hillary Clinton’s positions and as I learned more about each candidate, I was surprised that I preferred Sanders on EVERY SINGLE ISSUE.

Where Clinton was strong, Sanders was stronger.

Where Clinton was weak, Sanders was a titan.

If you were anything like me, you were very happy with the fact that you had a choice between good and great.

I was over the moon excited to support Sanders, but if Hillary were the nominee, I was planning to vote for her.

I no longer feel this way.

Millions of others have shifted along the same lines.

What brought about this transformation and why is it important to Bernie Sanders winning the Presidency?

bernieintheshadows

To put it bluntly, Hillary Clinton ran an awful campaign.

She did things that highlighted her personal failings and illuminated the cracks in her ethics, that lead millions of people to believe that she would be a disastrous leader.

Her attempts to assimilate Sanders supporters back into the fold have disgusted me to a point where I feel that I can no longer support her.

When you hire people to go on The Internet and make up fake stories about a good man like Senator Sanders then you will not get my vote.

When you hire people to upload child pornography onto Bernie Sanders discussion groups so you can have those groups banned from the Internet, I have to question what type of person could resort to such despicable maneuvers.

I cannot support a candidate who uses the tragic deaths of kindergarten children as political tools.

The point of this article is not to highlight the growing number of reasons that I cannot and will not support Hillary Clinton.

If you really want to read about that, then I suggest you read the article I wrote outlining said reasons.

Suffice it to say that I will not vote for her and the fear of Trump or Cruz will have no bearing on the issue.

I am an Independent voter.

Hillary Clinton caused me to leave the Democratic party.

I will not be returning until she is gone and I know millions of others feel the same.

Bernie Sanders

There are millions of people who will vote for Bernie Sanders, but refuse to vote for Hillary Clinton.

The number is significant enough to affect the general election.

In fact, Hillary Clinton cannot win the general election, without the help of Sanders’ supporters.

She will lose to Donald Trump.

This is important, because above all, the DNC wants to win.

They want to win so much, that they would cut their losses with Hillary Clinton and support Bernie Sanders, if they took the threat of millions of people refusing to vote for Hillary seriously.

They do not.

They are establishment politicians and they are completely out of touch with the will of the people.

Only through understanding and accepting that Sanders’ supporters will not support Clinton, will the Super-delegates switch their pledges to Sanders.

And the only way that happens is through a contested convention.

crowd2

Hillary Clinton does not understand that she does not have the backing of Independent voters.

The DNC does not grasp it either.

They are used to the traditional race, where two corporate Democrats spar and then the loser endorses the other in exchange for a cabinet position.

Sanders does not want a position in Hillary’s cabinet.

Hillary has nothing to offer him and she has nothing to scare him with.

Sanders is the ultimate thorn in the Clinton paw.

He simply cannot be bought.

Sen. Bernie Sanders Launches Presidential Bid In Vermont

What is our role in this chaos?

Our role is to support Senator Sanders and ONLY Senator Sanders.

But what if Hillary Clinton wins the nomination?

Isn’t she a better alternative than Donald Trump or Ted Cruz?

Undoubtedly it is better to have a Democrat in the White House in nearly any circumstance, but Clinton has simply gone too far.

She has pushed many voters to the point where they would actually feel like they had compromised their personal values if they supported her.

Recently I overheard a Hillary supporter trying to convince an Independent voter that he HAD to vote for Hillary if she were the Democratic nominee.

He replied…

“To vote for her would disparage everything my sons fought and died for.”

Bernie Sanders

Selling your Iraq vote to George Bush can maybe be forgiven, but never rewarded.

Her history of dishonesty (remember the Bosnian sniper fire) and secrecy means that we cannot know for sure what we would get should she come to power.

What we do know is that she has a lot to hide (private servers, deleted emails, Wall Street transcripts, etc).

Many people, myself included, do not look at it as a choice between Hillary or the GOP.

We look at it as a ethical choice.

We simply WILL NOT vote for someone who has blood on their hands.

If we vote for Hillary Clinton, after the tactics she has employed in this election (not to mention the awful things she did and said in 2008) then we are sanctioning all that we have fought so vehemently against.

If we vote for Clinton we are saying that voter suppression is okay.

If we vote for Clinton we are saying that hiring people to silence free speech is okay.

If we vote for Clinton we are saying that selling arms to Middle-Eastern terrorists is okay.

We are not okay with any of this.

Our vote is our voice.

And fear of Trump is not a reason to vote for someone we already know is a tyrant.

Bernie Sanders

We must all rise up as one and declare that Bernie Sanders is our choice and let the DNC know loud and clear that we will not support Hillary Clinton should she gain the nomination.

Bernie Sanders goal is to win enough delegates to force a contested convention in Philadelphia on July 25th.

Here Bernie and his supporters (both inside and outside the convention) will be allowed to make their case to the DNC that it is Bernie or Bust.

The DNC and it’s Super-delegates need to see the tremendous force that supports Senator Sanders up close and personal and see that we are completely serious about our refusal to support Clinton.

Furthermore they need to know that if they rig the convention to favor Clinton, then Sanders can simply run as an Independent, thereby quelling any chance the DNC has of controlling The White House.

Supporting Sanders and ONLY Sanders is not about being tricky or disingenuous.

This is not a bluff or empty threat.

This is a deal we make with ourselves to not be bullied with fear tactics into supporting a candidate that we do not approve of.

It’s not a political choice.

It’s a moral choice.Bernie Sanders

So vote for Bernie.

Phonebank for Bernie.

Canvass for Bernie and donate to Bernie.

Bernie is not continuing on in this campaign to waste our donation money.

Bernie is not continuing on in this campaign to make a point.

As he has said repeatedly, he is doing this to win.

But he needs massive action from US to do so.

I will see YOU in Philadelphia on July 25th.

And we will not leave until Bernie has the nomination.

Prince, Bernie Sanders and the Phoenix of Democracy

tried

As I sit here the morning after Prince’s death, it is cold and overcast.

One of my favorite Prince songs is “Sometimes It Snows In April”

As I write this, I listen to it on repeat and keep looking out the window.

I want it to snow today.

I want to listen to this song all day and I want to be warm in my sweater as white flakes float towards the ground in no particular hurry or order.

I want to bottom out and cry.

Then I want to get angry and go canvass for Bernie Sanders in the snow.

If it snowed then everyone would be home and I could talk to more people.

And if it snowed that would really mean something, right?

I mean Prince wrote that song and all.

Even a borderline atheist like me would have to admit that it meant something.

Or at least I would want it to mean something.

Prince+younger

If I am honest with myself, I am not mourning the death of Prince.

I actually really liked Prince.

I respected him as a truly amazing artist and have listened to his entire catalog hundreds of times.

As a musician myself, I respect him.

But if I am honest with myself, I am actually mourning the New York Democratic Primary.

Prince and this overcast day and this sad little ballad are providing the perfect combination for me to finally mourn, after two days of denial.

I am actually mourning the death of Democracy in America.

suppressed3

We have seen election fraud and voter suppression in state after state in this Democratic primary.

We have tried to stay positive.

We have continued focusing on the next state and the next state and then the next state.

When people were deprived of their right to vote in Arizona the media did not speak of it.

Protesters were tasered and beaten by police and the media did not speak of it.

I said to friends

“Hillary Clinton will try these voter suppression tactics in New York and they will blow up in her face.”

But she was able to suppress hundreds of thousands of voters and nothing happened.

I understand that cases are being filed and court documents reviewed, etc, but does ANYONE actually think that justice will be served here, when the person in charge of the audit is a Hillary Clinton Super-delegate?

They will do what they always do.

They will fire a few low ranking officials to take the heat off the real culprits and then the masses will go back to watching their 50″ flat screens.

They know that the people will not demand justice.

Demanding justice is just so inconvenient and time-consuming.

They have come to take our apathy for granted.

suppressed

I am honestly not sure what Bernie Sanders’ strategy is right now.

He says that he is taking it all the way to the convention on July 25th in Philadelphia.

He says that he believes the Super-delegates will endorse him and he will gain the nomination.

In light of the fact that Hillary Clinton has literally purchased the Super-delegate votes, I do not see how this will happen.

(People have asked me to do more citations so here is the citation for that

http://www.counterpunch.org/2016/04/01/how-hillary-clinton-bought-the-loyalty-of-33-state-democratic-parties/ )

Surely Bernie has more information than I do and he is a very smart man, but I do not see how Bernie expects to flip the Super-delegates when they are clearly already bought and paid for and not the least bit interested in supporting the wishes of their constituents.

Does Bernie Sanders actually have a plan to win the convention?

I want to believe that he does, because all I kee p thinking is

“Bernie, RUN AS AN INDEPENDENT!! And on November 8th, we will have poll monitors at every polling location making sure that Hillary Clinton cannot cheat again.”

50% of Americans are Independent voters and they will nearly ALL vote for Sanders in the general election.

All he has to do is announce his Independent run and he wins.

But he insists on flying Randy Quaid style into the heart of the DNC mother-ship.

“Hey boys!! I’m back!!!”

quaid

What does Bernie know that we don’t?

I honestly don’t see him winning enough delegates in the remaining states to overtake Hillary.

Not because he doesn’t have the support, but because the DNC has proven themselves completely corrupt and willing to engage in electioneering to win states.

I don’t see how Bernie can win this rigged game.

But he believes that he can.

And I will follow his leadership, because he has proven over and over that he sees things that others do not.

1968

I promise you this…if my presence in Philadelphia will help Bernie Sanders in anyway at all…then I will push pause on my life and I will go there and stay there until the job is done.

I know you will do the same.

Occupy Philadelphia has a nice ring to it.

And here’s a bitter pill for you…

If the Republicans are successful at doing to Donald Trump what the DNC is trying to do to Bernie Sanders…then Sanders is going to inherit millions of new supporters.

Most Trump supporters list Sanders as their second choice, not Cruz.

So if they cheat Trump out of his nomination, those people will migrate over and we will need to welcome them with open arms.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

We need all the help we can get on this.

There are many differences between us, but there are also similarities.

We cannot afford to be picky about who fights for our cause.

We must accept all those who seek freedom from oppression.

We will not get another chance.

Clinton is teamed up with many who seek to control the free exchange of ideas.

Look at her donor list (you also have to look at The Clinton Foundation and The Hillary Victory Fund and The Podesta Group) and you see that she is in league with those groups who have been trying to censor and control The Internet.

suppressed2

We will NOT get another chance.

Bernie Sanders is a flaming arrow, sailing over the battlefield, cutting the air, on it’s way to the emperor’s heart.

We must fight.

We must fight the way he fought for us.

When I watch my children sleeping, I know that I cannot give in and offer them a world in which the Hillary Clinton of the world prevail, while the Bernie Sanders of the world are thwarted.

I cannot give them second best.

I cannot give them excuses.

I cannot give them politics as usual, when this means millions will suffer unnecessarily.

I refuse to believe that corruption will destroy goodness.

I choose instead to stand up.

I choose to fly into the heart of the mother-ship.

I choose to believe that if we are “bold, mighty forces will come to our aid”.

I choose to believe that we have more power inside of us than we realize until we are pressed into battle.

And Prince was right, sometimes it snows in April.

Regardless, I have to go knock on some doors and make sure everyone votes for Bernie.

Because we have to win.

I don’t know how we are going to do that, but Bernie has a plan.

And something just beyond my cynicism tells me, that everything is going to be alright.

Princess Hillary and The Great Wizard Sanders

faerie4

There once was a woman named Princess Hillary.

Princess Hillary had everything.

She was rich.

She was powerful.

She flew on private dragons and everyone knew her name.

She had everything, except the one thing she wanted most.

She wanted to be the most powerful person in the world.

She wanted to be Queen of Americonia.

faerie5

The only problem Princess Hillary had was that no one seemed to like her.

The people of Republica did not like her.

The people of Democratia did not like her.

And the people of Independence absolutely despised her.

“Why oh why does Americonia have to have this stupid Democracy? I much prefer a Monarchy.” she mused to no one in particular.

Princess Hillary was very sad.

So her husband, Former King William, concocted a plan.

faerie8

Former King William was a powerful man with a magic wand that often got him into trouble

One day he said to Princess Hillary

“What if we got someone who everybody hated even more than you, to run against you for control of the kingdom? That way, the people that don’t like you, which is, well, you know, pretty much everyone, will still vote for you, because they will hate the other person even more?”

“That’s a great idea!!” said Princess Hillary “But wherever shall we find someone who people hate even more than me?!”

And with that, Former King William called his old friend, the Arch-Bishop of Douchebaggingham, the pathetic Lord Drumpf.

faerie9

Drumpf had always been a member of Democratia, but actually relished the opportunity to pretend to be from Republica.

“It will be great fun!!” Drumpf pronounced “I will have those idiots from Republica eating out of my tiny hands and the Democratians will be so afraid of me, they will do whatever you say, Princess Hillary! We will have ever so much fun, with our ruse. The peasants are so stupid!! Delightful!!”

“And the people of Douchebaggingham will love you even more!” remarked Former King William “For they all have small hands too and have a fantastic fear of everything!!”

Former King William and Princess Hillary were delighted and promised Lord Drumpf all the power he could ever imagine.

For such a tiny man with such tiny hands, the thought of such power made his giant orange head swim.

faerie11

When The Great Wizard Sanders heard that Princess Hillary was out to deceive the good people of Americonia yet again (this was not the first time), he saddled up his unicorn and headed from the east to let the Americonians hear the truth.

He rode his magical horse from town to town, telling the people that they had a long forgotten magic inside of them.

He told them that by joining forces, they could cast incredible spells of prosperity all over the land.

Princess Hillary and Lord Drumpf laughed at The Great Wizard Sanders.

For they knew they had a great advantage.

For you see, there was a magical box installed in every home in the kingdom.

And nothing ever made it to the magic box, without being approved by the most powerful people in the kingdom.

Princess Hillary and Lord Drumpf could use it to spread their lies far and wide.

How far could The Great Wizard Sanders get, just by speaking to the peasants face to face?

Not very far at all, Hillary and Drumpf reasoned.

faerie13

For a while the great plan of Princess Hillary and Lord Drumpf was working perfectly.

The people did not like Princess Hillary, but Lord Drumpf would say outrageous things and Princess Hillary would be right there on the magical box reminding the people each day that she was not as bad as Lord Drumpf.

In fact she even considered changing her campaign slogan to

“Not As Bad As Drumpf!” with an arrow point to the right and a picture of Drumpf’s stupid face right at the end of the arrow.

And most people agreed.

Princess Hillary was incredibly unlikable, but Lord Drumpf was even worse it seemed.

Each day the magic box told the people what awful thing Lord Drumpf had said or done and each day, there was Princess Hillary reminding the people

“I may be awful, but I am not as awful as Drumpf. If you do not pick me, then you will have to deal with him.”

And each day the people hung their heads in sadness, wondering why they had to choose between a donkey or an ass and wondering if there was even a difference at all.

The people had heard of The Great Wizard Sanders, but the magic box had said that he didn’t have a chance to win and that if you liked him then you were a white, close-minded male who hated women.

This confused many of the people in the kingdom who noticed that they were not only not all white, but they were also not all male and all of them agreed that they were neither closed minded, nor hated women. In fact many of them noticed they were women.

The Great Wizard Sanders, undaunted, continued traveling from town to town, spreading the word about the dormant magic that lies inside of all people.

And some people had started to listen…

And those people had started to tell other people.

faerie12

As belief in the magic grew, Princess Hillary instructed Lord Drumpf to say even more outrageous things.

“They must hate you!!!” she screamed “They must fear you so much that they will vote for me!!”

“I’m trying!!” Lord Drumpf assured her “I keep saying everything you tell me to say, but people don’t care. Everyone still hates you more than me. It’s the wizard who is causing all the problems. He cast a spell called The Internet and the peasants are using it to correct the lies that the magic box is telling them. The people now KNOW what a truly awful person you are. Before The Internet they only suspected it!!”

“Then we must stop this Internet!!” said Princess Hillary “Bring it to me!!”

Lord Drumpf knew that Princess Hillary could never understand the intricacies of The Internet, so he countered with another proposal.

“You are a very powerful lady, Princess Hillary. Why don’t you talk to your friends in the various kingdoms and make sure that the people who want to vote for the wizard, cannot vote for him?”

“That is an excellent idea.” said Princess Hillary.

And with that, she began contacting the Lords of the various kingdoms.

“Just throw away their votes, when they vote for the wizard. Or better yet, just tell them they are not allowed to vote. Also I will have my husband, Former King William show up at the polling places and instruct the peasants to vote for me. Just make sure I win! After all, it’s my turn!! I’ll begin preparations for my coronation forthwith.”

faerie6

For a while, Princess Hillary’s new plan worked.

Many people gave up once their ability to vote had been taken away from them.

“The Great Wizard Sanders was lying about the magic we have inside us.” some said.

“We can never have human rights in Americonia. That is only for other kingdoms. Princess Hillary is just too powerful.” others said.

Princess Hillary even offered a chance for The Great Wizard Sanders to surrender.

In fact, she offered it like a hundred freakin times.

But The Great Wizard Sanders refused to give up.

He continued to spread his magical message across the entire kingdom.

The message was so powerful that even people from across the great seas came to hear and support it.

When the people found out about Princess Hillary throwing away all their votes, they became furious and Princess Hillary had to run away from the angry mobs.

faerie2

But there was no place for Princess Hillary to run, once the secret police that ruled over the kingdoms found out about Princess Hillary’s failed attempts to use The Internet (apparently she didn’t know how to use it properly and cast several thousand Deletion spells on her top secret magic letters).

Soon they came to her castle to take her away.

But Princess Hillary was too smart for them.

She called her home planet and told them that she needed “emergency extraction!!!”.

“Our plan to take over the world has failed miserably!!” she screamed in an incredibly shrill tone.

“And I’m pretty sure that Lord Drumpf is actually an invader from the planet Douchenozzle!!” she added.

faerie3

Alas the space ship took Princess Hillary away and the good people of Americonia rejoiced.

They were safe again.

The Great Wizard Sanders slayed evil Lord Drumpf and the people used the magic they had found inside themselves to transform their kingdoms into places where all people could thrive and prosper.

People destroyed their magic boxes and every one learned how to properly cast The Internet to find truth and science.

And they all lived happily ever after.

faerie10

And oh yeah…

One more thing..

The Village Idiot, Ted Cruz, finally accepted his homosexuality, denounced religion and released the Ted in Your Bed line of adult sex toys and lubricants.

He was a lot happier and more likable after that.
